Traded yesterday, and although I had 6 games I am positive I got ripped here somehow...

Here are my pre-adjusted values:

So, if the 40% + EDGE was still going on, I should've gotten $142 dollars and change... However all I got was $129.67

Looking at the receipt, I got the extra 10% on all my tradeins because of EDGE, but also recieved the $25 dollars for the 4 Wii games.

I think I got shorted a bit... but when buying the Aerosmith/Guitar for 9.99 felt great, so I didn't complain!

Traded in 10 360 games and got 272 So that isn't too bad... With the bonus I got 42 dollars for resident evil 5. Also I got an edge card free since I bought with it for 15 I got 20 bucks more with the trade in so I got a free edge membership, and 5 more bucks. On top of that I used the coupon from the magazine I got to get 10 percent off Valkeria chronicles.

Cash trades to GS are pretty pointless. You get 20% off the base TIV, and promos cannot apply. If you want cash, you are most certainly better selling the games yourself.

Is trading in more than 1 copy of a game YMMV if they take all? I was thinking of pooling some of my friend's and my games in to get higher %. I'm not talking about 6 of the same but like 3 or 4.

If you have more then 2 copies of the same game I would say that it is VERY YMMV. They will have trouble accepting that you and your friend have 3-4 copies of the same game between you. You might have better luck if your friend is with you and the games are on different platforms, also getting a kind and competent GS emloyee would help. Still, it would be YMMV.

Chances are, they'll talk to you like you've just stolen them...start saying loudly "oh we can't take those because they may be stolen" etc. I've seen them do that plenty of times at stores all over. I think it's a script thing they learn to do to discourage flippers or something.
