I swear EA are a bunch of dumbasses. So they send me an email saying get $10 off on any of these EA Sports games. And they give me the promo code. So out of curiosity I tried the code at their website and guess what, invalid.

Does EA still charge around $10 to ship a game? Even when they had those $20 off codes a few years ago it was still a waste as shipping really ate into it.

I ordered Tiger Woods Wii last week with the BB 1/2 off deal, and then I got an e-mail telling me the order was canceled, but they haven't refunded the credit. There's 0 customer service, so if you have a problem good luck.

I think they may be activating the codes. The one I tried earlier from this thread just worked for me.

They told me it was my bank (umm, my bank is uninvolved), then they looked into it for 3 days only to tell me my order has been canceled and I may get an explanation. Great now I have all of this credit and apparently can't spend it. EA is the worst.

well, I'm not even getting the newsletter. I have the contact me box checked on my ea account, but I didn't get anything in my inbox or anywhere else. Is there a place to manually sign up for it? My biggest problem with them have been this whole newsletter thing.

I am in the SAME EXACT SITUATION AS YOU......over $200 in my "EA Wallet", and I have been able to complete an order in over a week.....(and yes, I've read the fine print, and I KNOW EA has a limit of $300 in an account at one time)
