I know its early but the ads are already starting so I decided to make a thread for Black Friday 2009 (November 27, 2009). I will update this post as more information becomes available. let it begin! Although this year might be interesting as it's the first w/o Circuit City who always driven those prices down...but BB is usually where you'll find me as early as 2am (hell no I don't camp out overnight, that's only for console releases!)

With Amazons insanely cheap deals, I dont see BF from big company stores even being worth it. 4 games a store, prob around same
price u can get them on amazon through a promotion, yet u have to camp out.

What's a "consule" game? Looks like someone needs to edit their ad copy before it officially hits the street. Otherwise, this seems like a pretty good deal. Hopefully the 50% off on the Xbox games will bring those prices down to $10 each.

Same here, I've only every gone out early twice and both times was to BB. They always have the good deals.

Arriving at 2am is pretty much "camping out" in my opinion.

It think it's going to be a down year for Black Friday all around this year. Less competition and companies simply can't afford to discount like they used to.

All my BF shoppings this year will be online. Not worth it anymore to push and shove for that little bit of saving. Amazon's was just so much more fun last year, and I didn't even have to leave my chair.

Same here for me. I managed to get great deals with Best Buy online and Amazon online between Turkey Day and Black Friday, plus some others throughout the weekend with Amazon.

It's just not worth risking life and limb for some savings.

I bet those gaming lightning deals will be making their return for black friday. Probably seen as a fairer solution than letting people load up their carts then check out at 3 am once the prices update.
