XBOX 360 Hardware... (HDD, Cables, Power Brick, Controller, etc.)

Well I have a friend who repairs 360's and he couldn't repair this certain elite so he told me to take it off his hands... I decided to register it and have M$ try to repair it.

They did. I was for sure they wouldn't but I guess because it was an E74 error I got the benefit of the doubt...

So to make a long story short, I only have the 360! Any input on where to buy everything else?

Thanks in advance!

MicroCenter has refurb power bricks for $20. GameStop usually has the cables available or you can try a third-party set.

I have 3 different XBox's and three different power bricks. I guess what I am saying is make sure you are getting the correct power brick for your XBox.

Yeah... I have been looking at that...

The friend who gave me the system actually just gave me a power brick for a 'Jasper'.

Thing is, I'm not sure if it was a 'Jasper'. To be honest I think it's a 175W one (instead of the 150W...)

Hopefully it was a 'Jasper' and that is what they send me back...

On a side note I hear Sears sells 120 GB HDD's for $13?! Anyone else able to verify this? I'm assuming it's going to be a tough one to find.

If you got a Jasper you can use any power brick. As long as the watt of the system is not higher than the brick it is ok

Finding a 120GB at Sears at that price is close to zero at this point

So if the system I get back is not a 'Jasper'... This power brick I have is basically useless? Should I just grab my friends 200+W one to be on the safe side?
