I use my tv for the sake of watching it, not going oooo and ahhh over a 'better' picture. No offense meant to those who have upgraded, but I have better things to spend $600-700 on than something I'm using 10% of the time.

As for changing my name on here, that's the 10% of the time I typically use my tv(s) is when I'm gaming and maybe an hour or two here or there for certain programs. Otherwise, even having a tv for me is kind of a waste right now. |

I personally have no problem spending a little extra for a nicer T.V. or headphones because I'm going to be using them every day. If you don't listen to music or use your T.V. that much though, then I see your point. And on a final note, if you know where to look, you can usually find Blu-Rays for as cheap as (or even cheaper than) their Blu-Ray counterparts |

I agree with the price:performance business because I'm not buying a 13432474MHz TV with 198458457p when I can hardly even tell the difference between 720 andp 1080i, let alone 1080p. However while buying expensive doesn't guarantee quality, you buy cheap and you get cheap. Seriously.

As to the 'buying quality to get quality' thing, again with someone like me who uses their tv so sparingly it makes no sense to pay $1000 for a tv. But again, to each their own, sorry if I offended by being blunt like I usually am. |

Well that's what I mean. I have the most basic of cable, I have only SDTVs, and use RF modulators. That's because TV is only background noise for me.
However, I bought a top of the line desktop because I spent a lot of my time on it doing various tasks. $700 was nothing for just a tower to me because of how much of a difference it makes in my life. Price:Performance Price:Worth |
