That's what I did when they had the trade-in 3 get Fight Night Round 4. I just asked for a gift receipt and then returned them for preorders of MW2 and NBA Live 10.

^ I don't think thats the full ad, the one that I saw on slickdeals had a page showing a 60 dollar used DS lite as well as this promo the 2/4/6 advertised (kind of implying that it was being extended past the 22nd)

so I was thinking about trading in my launch 360 for a new arcade but I need the component cables still!
do you think i could trade in my 360 with the composite cables from the new arcade (that i buy at the same time) and keep the components? Would that fly?... sure would make my life easier

I traded in Bigs 2 / towards Dragon Age: Origins and my total came out to $18.86 after tax. I almost complained when I saw that I had only received $18 (after Edge) for each game. In my mind, I was expecting to get $21.50 (after Edge) for each game. Then, I saw that DA:O was $49.99 and not $59.99. I received the trade 2 get an extra 10% promo (7922) instead and ended up paying $13.99 for DA:O.

I went to another GS and traded in Bloom Box and Bigs 2 for NSMB Wii and the computer there was giving me the same promo (extra 10%). I told the clerk and the manager had to manually adjust the trade-in total to $20 (before Edge) for each game.


I apologize if this was asked in the previous thread but I noticed that the list for the COD:MW2 deal includes Lego SW:CS as an eligible title. I didn't see it in the exclusion list. Has any one had any luck using that game for the trade-in offer?

The same thing happened to me. Since I was expecting to pay $20 + tax, I was happy, although I thought the $50 price for Dragon Age was only online (the tag on the shelf was still $59.99).

When he told me the total, I was also happy since it was less than expected. When I saw the price and the trade-in total for each game, I immediately thought that I should've payed less ($9.99 before Edge). Then I came to my senses and realized that they actually gave me the better deal.
