I just started playing this and it's not good. They start you off in a dungeon-like area with small corridors that just point out how bad the camera is, which is controlled by holding the left shoulder button and then using the d-pad. I just got a more open space, so I'm hoping it gets better, but I'm getting the vibe that this is another Ubisoft failure on the PSP.

Yeah...I was hoping for a fixed/centered camera and some sort of lock-on for enemies. Reviews aren't looking too good though. My copy should be here tomorrow or Sat.

That's really depressing, if it ends up not being good. It looked like it would be a decent game, from the small amount of footage they released. Then again, the small amount of footage was probably an indicator that the game wasn't ready for prime time, and was being rushed to the market. :(

From all the reviews and gameplay I've seen, it's not a terribly good game. Rather disappointing to be honest, was hoping for something amazing but I guess this isn't the game.

ive played for about 2 or 2 1/2 hours, and while i think it isnt great, i dont think its horrible either. im enjoying it so far. but whats holding it back for me is of course, the camera. but it seems like it will hold me off for 2 weeks or so until i can borrow ac2 from my friend who bought it.

Honestly, I saw the title of this game having Assassin's Creed in it, then it being on a handheld and thought "This doesn't seem very promising." Guess I was right.

The first Assassin's Creed game got boring halfway through, and that is what is putting me off from Assassin's Creed 2. So, I guess I have a little paranoia about the series now.

I think I'm done in the fifth chapter, as this stupid escort mission with a caravan just put me over the edge in frustration with the controls. I'm supposed to take out these guards as this caravan rolls through town, so I'm using my knives to take out guards at different heights, which makes for a combination of bad camera and slow response for the knives that just makes me want to cut my losses and transfer whatever I'll get for connecting this with AC2 and send this piece of crap back to Gamefly.

AC2 fixes issues with the original like repetitive missions and much more depth to the side missions, collection stuff, and the economy. Bloodlines seems like an obvious rush job by a second tier team to come out alongside the big game and this shouldn't be taken as a sign of AC2's quality.

I just got this game and it wants me to update my psp 5.00 m33 to 6.00 or above. There' no way I'm going to update and judging by the comments in this post I think I'll just sell it and try to get Motorstorm or Soul Calibur for the PSP.
