If you guys havent heard, they took out check swings for 2K10. Easy pass for me this year.

Well, that's smart. It's not like it's difficult to read the break of a pitch in a video game or anything, lol.

Looks like they're taking from Sony's playbook. That was another "fix" they made from The Show 08. Check swing didn't work near as well as in 08, and online, it basically didn't work at all. And neither did hit and run. Come to think of it...online play hardly worked at all, haha.

Yes, MLB 09 has some strange looking pitching animations and it was very hard to check swings online an addition to no hit and run and other bugs, nevertheless, it's still a very good game. I feel that the work that is being done by the devs in addition to community input for MLB 10 should surpass MVP 2005 which was/is a very good game in its own right.

Go over to OperationSports and post that. There were some game killing bugs in 09, runs not counting etc...

If he posted that at OS, he'd get banned. They're really not too fond of anyone saying anything negative about SCEA over there (even if it's true)...especially since a few of the developers post on the site.

MLB 09 doesn't track career stats. At all. For hitters, no career walks, strikeouts, OBP, slugging, CS, doubles, triples... that's pathetic. I've read that home run derby is back, which is nice, but unless 10 tracks advanced stats, I'll continue to play World Series 2k3 for dynasty stuff and MLB 09 for The Show. Even then, the manager logic is retarded in RTTS.

I'm aware of that and that does seem to be the truth even though I thought it was a unbiased fair opinion. newcomers especially, really need to mind their P's and Q's on OS.

All right, now they have my attention, lol. This is crazy as hell, but I give them credit for at least doing something to generate interest again. Who knows. Maybe they did take some steps forward with the game. It's not unthinkable. The 2K baseball games used to be pretty solid.

How many years in a row is this for "revamped pitching mechanics"?
