Uhhhhh, no. Don't know that they've ever honored an actual price mistake. In the most recent Marvel Omnibus graphic novel fiasco, they offered those who ordered a free credit to their account. I think it was something like $25 of credit, which was pretty nice, but I don't expect that much this time around.

Guaranteed, every order made at this $60 price will be canceled. There is no doubt in my mind.

Same here, I told myself I was going to not buy it until I got a chance to play it (rental), but $60 for a Legendary is too hard to pass up. Plus I can always cancel (or amazon.com will shortly perhaps) if I really don't want it. We have months to wait.

Well they clearly have the "Preorder price guarantee" displayed on the product page...

We'll just have to wait and see what happens. I would think it would've been fixed by now. I put my order in half an hour ago.

Well worst comes to worst I'll get one at this price a year or two after Reach is done, and sell my Reach copy to someone else and pay the small difference :P

Actually, Amazon is pretty good with honoring their mistakes, at least when compared to other companies and when the price is reasonable. But in this case, they definitely won't. Unlike many other companies, though, they may actually attempt to make it up to you.

It depends on the mistake about them honoring it.

If it's a huge mistake like this, or the Marvel Omnibus fiasco, then they'll likely cancel the orders and they should provide something for your trouble.

When they put up Splinter Cell Conviction CE for $69.99 before it was "raised" up to $79.99 (and dropped to $69.99 due to all the CE freebie item issues), they honored the price and shipped out the items. Again, it depends on the mistake.

We might get lucky, though for a $90 mistake, I'd be surprised. Plus, all the sudden influx of orders might set off a red flag or two about it.

Amazon only charges when an order ships.

I jumped on this for the hell of it and would be pants-pooingly surprised if they actually honor it.

Well, that pretty much puts this deal in the graveyard.

Nice, was able to switch my regular edition pre-order from last year to this and still keep my 10% ECA discount from last year as well. Great customer service! Lost out on some gold box discount but getting the legendary edition is worth it.

EDIT: Wow...glad I got in two minutes before it died.
