Just a side thought: some years ago, Blood 2's source was released. It can be found
on FilePlanet. It was a Windows game. I hope that nothing, legally speaking, keeps them
from releasing that.

One Unit Whole Blood $6 @ GOG (90's FPS, From the makers of Duke Nukem)

Using the Build Engine, released after Duke Nukem. Any true 90's FPS fan should get this.. and $6 for Blood + the expansion packs = no brainer, just do it.

I wonder if they still have the source code around. They should see if M$ could
port it, like they did with Duke Nukem 3D. I'd pay $10 for that, as well as an
XBLA port of Shadow Warrior.

Oh, and ROTT.

You might want to rename your thread, the game is just called Blood. (Because as a longtime fan I was confused by your title, I know that much)

And Monolith created it. 3DRealms only created the concept in conjunction with Monolith who bought out the IP from them to create, and then release it themselves.

Blood_(video_game)

It's a decent build engine game and Caleb is a cool character, so I recommend it, just wanted to correct a few of the "issues" with the Thread title. Since I own both on CD, I don't need this, but I appreciate you posting on a game that I'm sure many people don't know much about.

Agreed the title through me off. Thanks for the heads up. I love blood that whole era of pc gaming was special.
I am going to need a bigger boat LOL

I would definately buy on live if alot of these older gammes were rereleased.

I really wish someone would remake the Blood series. Some of the weapons were great. The atmosphere was too.

One Unit Whole Blood was a fantastic package. Any Blood fan would know this.

We already have a thread on this anyways.

Agreed. Just to one-up the geekiness, I knew exactly what was being discussed.

Even as an owner of the original game and the OUWB, I will still get this.

I even searched too! WTF?

FML

Oh well, finally be able to pick this game up instead of bleeding thru the nose for the original copies on the bay.

What GOG needs now is a virtual bargain bin, where they put their specials.
To make it even better, as the special comes to a close, the box can have
digs and crushes added to it.

Has anyone here bought GoG's version of i76 and ran it under Windows 7 64bit?
I have (multiple) copies of i76 on original disk but I cannot get them to work after many hours of trying. :(
Even the virtual XP machine barfs up a lung on this one.
