Well, it seems the objective was met. The hardcore dealhunters are looking at K-Mart, the store is getting some underground press, and they didn't have to sell too many copies of the games they're losing money on to accomplish that. After all, a few copies in some of the stores, a few online with absolutely no comment on restock despite answering other questions...

Seems like a great grassroots campaign to me. Not a lot of money lost, a number of highly vocal sites talking about them. Without more stock being sent to the stores and more even distribution across all stores (or even just more stock online), this is going to eventually turn into a Hoard-aplooza with a few very happy scalpers and a lot of very annoyed CAG'ers.

I was thinking about Darksiders as well, but, MSRP is $40 now I believe, so I'm holding off as I have spent a ton of money recently. Therefore $30 plus a couple bucks from tax/shipping puts it closer to a tax free/free shipping version.

What's the reason to people hoarding ? I don't really see any good flips or money makers unless I'm missing something.

And to all the people bitching about it being OOS, just kick back, and wait till SHC sees what has happened. Or go out to your local K-Mart tomorrow morning and just get the games you want. I don't get the big deal.

Metro 2033 is $59.99 but then there's Warhammer 40K which has the picture and description of Metro 2033 for $29.99.

LOL @ anybody who is trying to flip this...

Avg eBay/Paypal fees for a $40 sale is about $6-7. Then you'd have to ship the item obviously, and eBay won't let you price gouge now, so $4 shipping standard. If you ship USPS First Class, you'll make max $3 in S&H (if you have properly sized packaging in bulk).

Now, if you want to be bold and list a bunch of FFXIII on eBay, at the risk of K-Mart cancelling on you, then you could have buyers angry at slow shipping time. And everybody knows eBay <3 buyers now.

(Oh and BTW, $40 for FFXIII is still generous on eBay. I bought a sealed copy + guide for $40 shipped)

So after all of that, unless the flippers are going on CL and selling each for a $5-10 profit, they wasted their time.
