Nerf N-Strike/Lightgun Question

I've been looking at playing some rail shooters and wanted to see if anybody had tried the gun accessory that comes with Nerf N-Strike. I tried the Zapper that a friend of mine had and loathed the fact that the trigger was in the front instead of the pack. After looking around it seems like the Nyko Perfect Shot is pretty good, until the Nerf N-Strike caught my eye.

I like the fact that the Nerf gun has chunk beneath barrel as I prefer to steady the gun with my left hand by holding the barrel (at least that's what I do when I play rail shooters at the arcade). Of course that wouldn't make up for other problems of crappy design but it is hard to tell with just a picture so I wanted to know if anybody had experience with this Nerf lightgun and what their thoughts on it were.

I have a couple of the first version ones and like them pretty well. One nice feature is that the trigger is spring-loaded so it feels a little more responsive than the official zapper.
