I actually get quizzed if my wife gets home before I do and sees the boxes left at the front door first..."You received a box...what did you order?" and if I don't guess right (or take too long to answer because I can't recall all of the things I recently ordered and which one this might be) then I get the and maybe a comment about buying too much stuff online. But she's a good sport about it, so I'm not complaining. And given how much of my crap is filling up the house, she has a right to comment on the fact.

I am such a sucker for Special/Limited/Deluxe/Whatever editions of games. Of the games this gen I mean I'd keep anyway. That Cursed Mountain game intrigued the hell out of me...bought the regular edition but as usual couldn't force myself to play the Goddamn Wii.

Hmm...well I can only assume AC:Bro LE for $35 was not a universal price drop @ Best Buy's in my area. Was at checkout & saw a few on a shelf behind the counter. Asked how much it was, rang up as $99.99.

Little disappointed after reading so many got it for cheap.

Nice thread, but it can be heartbreaking to see CAG's grabbing the cheap YMMV stuff only to go hunt for it yourself and find that there aren't any within 100 miles of you. But alas, those are the breaks.

Indeed, but not every hunt ends with a trophy. It's the misses that make the kills even more satisfying.

The good thing is that there's always another deal ahead, so don't spend too much time looking back.

And if there is ever something you really can't do without (a LE of your favorite game), then you should buy it at full price so you don't kick yourself later for missing out on getting the game completely.

My current happiest find was in a local game shop of a not so mint copy of FFVII Versus guide w/poster intact for $1.

I went to a local gamestop and they had the metal gear peace walker ce and it supposedly rang $40. The guy said that it must be a gamestop online promo.
