what do I need to become an advantage member, any hidden fees?

looks like the advantage thing is not something you join but rather you are rewarded for being a valued customer. ill try the code at least.

I just get:

This Redemption Code is linked with another eBay account and cannot be used with this eBay account.

After entering the promo code in the box and says it's a working code and takes $10 off the total, clicking continue with PayPal, logging in to PayPal and then get the above error message.

Hm...I'm a PayPal Advantage member myself...I might give that code a go at some point.

Btw...how did I get to be a PayPal Advantage member? $5000 worth of transactions within the previous 12 months...that's what I had to do. Strangely enough, since I qualified back in November, I'm already 60% of the way to renewing it for another year o_O ... I spend too much darn money on video games :P .

I've used a code like this before with my advantage membership. If anyone else has, please test this code as I want to know if this is a second code active for all advantage members.

you spent $5000 on video games in one year.... damn.. well if you ever feel the need to control your consumption.. you can always share some of that $$ with me you know.. i can help..

i would feel like crap if i had spent $5,000 on games man.. and the only way i would redeem myself is by sharing my wealth with other people.. so if you ever consider doing that.. im here..

Ok, this thread can now be done.

$5,000 a year on games, I spend a lot on games and systems but not hardly that much. Been buying a lot lately though because got a 3ds and finally got me a halo reach bundle off ebay other day. Since I have such a huge backlog I usually wait til games get to $20 or less before buying them. I did jump on the ds game 999 other day though since I read so much good about it. If I think a game will go up in value I buy it anyway.
