My store had the Nyko 3DS battery pack but not the one with the charger base. I bought the pack but will keep it sealed in case the charger base bundle shows up before the end of the sale.

Another unadvertised sale: GearMonkey accessories (asst'd stuff for almost all consoles) 4 for $10 (reg. price $5/ea). Note: At my TRU, the majority of the GearMonkey stuff was on a display rack closer to the registers and w/ almost nothing in the actual RZone/electronics area.

It has a simple velcro flap, a sewn-on belt loop (so you have to take off your belt to use), a carabiner clip (great for snapping onto a belt loop if you don't mind it flopping around a little when you walk), and a little exposed pocket on the front for a single game (not the safest place; I just toss games inside the main pouch with the system itself; the flap makes sure nothing slips out). I saw a couple other no-frills sleeves of other brands in the accessories aisle, but they either don't fully enclose the system pouch area or otherwise require me to figure out where to put it when I'm actually playing my system (ie, no way to attach it to my pants).

I just bought a PS3 yesterday because my 80gb fat finally got the YLOD and the closest deal I found was at Walmart. It was the 160gb bundle with Tiger Woods Masters. I don't even like golf but free is free. Couldn't find the Killzone bundle anywhere.

I very briefly caught a TRU television ad this morning that may have stated something like 40% off all videogames. Does anyone know what this is about?

Checked out my local Toys R Us (Orange Park, FL) to see if they received the Nyko 3DS Power Pak+ extended life battery+charge base bundles; no luck. All they had was the batteries by themselves. Has anyone seen the bundles at their stores?

Though I already bought the battery w/ the 30% off sale, I'm sort of inclined to return it and just wait for the charge base bundle I still have preordered on Amazon.

Went to Best Buy to put in a Portal 2 pre-order to take advantage of next week's potentially Amazon-beating deal.

While there, I picked up the Nyko 3DS Charge Base (extended life battery + charging dock). The cashier would have PM'd TRU's 30% off deal, but neither of the Nyko 3DS battery items were listed on TRU's website. Still, even w/ the current 10% off media/accessories coupon, it brings down the post-tax price to below what Amazon's MSRP price. I don't know why, but Amazon still has it in pre-order status as shipping on April 30.
