Ah, so basically every $5 on the mag gets you a coupon for $20 off aka $15 in value (when your stores never have good used games in stock)

Yeah I bought Smash bro's Brawl X2 $25, Mario Party 8 $22 and Black Ops $25(last week).

I went it to swap out Tropico for Borderlands (PS3) from the B2G1 sale, and the girl gave me the Borderlands GOTY disc by mistake. Yay!

$24 for PS3 F3AR has been reported. Is it the same for the 360 I assume?

Good for you. A few months back I pick up a new copy of Borderlands GOTY at gs for $20, just wished I would have picked up more copies

I'd imagine FEAR 3 will go up in TIV next week... I just can't imagine Gamestop will keep it at $24 but I guess I could be wrong.

I bought the Shift 2: Unleashed from Best Buy with the coupon, but the versions Best Buy had were the limited edition. Would it still trade in for the same vlue? I was going to trade it in at amazon, but I'm afraid they might reject it since it doesn't match the UPC of the regular edition.

I would think so as well, but I don't want to get screwed if it somehow goes down!

If it goes up, it will go up by like $3 to $27, which means with the 50% we get an extra $4.50

I think I may just trade my extra copy in today just in case.

Can't you just go in the next day, say I want to cancel my preorder of game X and get the credit back? Then put all the credit on a different preorder later? We have been doing that for years and I have not heard of this method not being viable lately...

There is a moderation queue they have to go through.

I wonder if this means the TIV for Crysis 2,DS2and NFS:HP went up as well. That would be epic if so.

So, I just called the gamestops near me and asked if I could trade in some games towards an e3 title, and then put it on a different pre order, and then told me they can't. I then asked them if I could put it towards the gears 3 console and they told me they couldn't do that. I then even asked what would happen if I put it towards a title and then didn't want the game anymore, and they told me that I would lose any extra trade in credit from that promo. So thats pretty lame, I'll probably go trade in my games to best buy for that promo.
