If the item isn't available at your store, you can choose the "ship to store" option to save on shipping. However, note that it appears that the availability date for ship to store is 8/28 oddly enough. Awesome game if you have room for it in your backlog.

Wasn't this on sale at BB and Amazon a month or two back? If so, what was the price? I can't remember...either way, thanks OP, might jump on this since I borrowed the game like a year ago when I beat it.

Traded in my Uncharted 2 copy to Gamestop about a month ago for 25, going to pick this up now!

Ship to store means that the store does not have it in stock for instant pickup but it can be ordered for you and sent to the store so you can pick it up at a later date. The date being 8/28 means that Best Buy is not expecting stock until then. If it is sooner, they will notify you via email.

Yeah I figured that, what I thought was weird about it is that it's showing as available for shipping to your home and leaving the warehouse within 1 business day even though they couldn't ship it to the store until next month? Their warehouse allocation is different for in-store shipping than home shipping i suppose.

I think it was still $20 cause it traded in for $20 at the time too. If I remember that correctly after waking up.

I hope they make this a permanent price drop since uncharted 3 is coming out soon.

i think best buy had a deal where u preorder uncharted 3 u get uncharted 2 goty for 9.99.... guess it was only for short time a month back.

If I remember correctly, the DLC contents need to be downloaded via a code, so they're not on the disc itself. Does anybody know has the code expire yet?

The code hasnt expired. I recently downloaded the code from a copy of the GOTY edition I picked up at a pawn shop for $10 that for some reason had an unused code. Which is why I bought it. Code worked perfect, it has 28 downloads on it in total including both map packs, a bunch of avatars, a video, etc etc.

The punch line of it though is that when I got to the very last level of the game, it freezes. And you cant get past the freeze... which is probably why it was traded in. and it probably had an unused code which someone put in the old case after using the original code and then buying a new copy so they could play the game.
