hmm LA noir for $18 sounds like a good deal

Never thought I'd say this, but forget the video game sales. Those book sales are orgasmic. Gotta agree 100% on scooping up Bone for cheap. You're almost just paying for the amount of paper in the book at that price.

Crysis 2 for ~$18 shipped though, so ing tempting. I'm just glad there's not a filler $10.

For those of you looking to flip, Amazon's TIV is $15, and GS' base TIV is $12 (if you're lucky enough to have access to a store with +50% TIV, that's $18, I just think of PUR covering tax) so there's not a profit to be made, but you won't lose much over a week rental before shipping it to Amazon.

TIV is $20 at BB plus you can an extra 50% if you preorder Gears 3. Just saying..

I wouldn't necessarily trust GoHastings to get you your games by the end of the week...

If you are lucky (or unlucky, as the case often is) enough to have a Hasting's B&M store nearby, you can trade it back to them for $20....free rental.

Ugh, totally forgot how much better their TIVs are. We don't have any BBs that accept trade-ins over here. I wonder if BB trade-in values will become a thread or part of the TIV-tracker. Thanks for clarifying that.

$36.52 would get you Gears 3 this way, and be eligible for the Pre-Order 5, Get $100 promotion (to my knowledge). And Mechanic Baird, if that's your thing.

I'll add it to the main post, but all you had to do was read back to my last post in this thread. GoHastings, for whatever reason, doesn't update the prices for the deals immediately even though they change the deal of the day image. Sometimes its within a couple of hours, sometimes its a handful of hours. The price will get adjusted as soon as someone at Hastings pulls their head out and probably manually adjusts their poor online system.

Edit: Apparently it switched today at midnight Pacific time. That's not the norm. It's updated earlier and later on other days.

Just submitted my order for Crysis 2 (PS3) and a used Assassins Creed 2 guide book. Also used SAVEABE code.

But you could have saved $0.50 if you had done Cysis 2 + Pocahantas filler + SAVEABE and ordered the AssCreed2 book separately using FILLURSHELVES!!!!!!

Hopefully if the book is cancelled they don't remove the $5 discount. If the book was cancelled but they honored the coupon on just Crysis 2 that would bring the price down to $17.27

On that note it looks like Pocahontas is the cheapest in stock filler at $1.09. That makes the deal with Crysis 2 and SAVEABE total to a whopping $0.10 higher than the title of the thread indicates, at $18.36. But maybe some $0.99 items will come in stock tomorrow.

And for what its worth, the cheapest used 360 and PS3 copies of Crysis 2 on Amazon are $21.99 and $24.99 respectively, sold from Amazon Warehouse, so this seems like a pretty decent deal if you can save a few bucks here on Hastings.

Updated the OP for L.A. Noire today. Prices not in effect yet, and as always there's no way to tell what time they'll kick in.

The same course of action to get it for around $18 will work for this deal as it worked for Crysis 2.

I was able to sneak in and get crysis 2 before that deal expired. I have been waiting awhile to get it, I wanted it at $15 but I ended up getting a $3.50 book and crysis for $20.xx shipped so I'm happy.

Ive gotta agree with you on this. I have only bought books from hastings since I discovered them throgh cag. Where else can I buy 10 hard cover books for a 22.xx.
