Same for me, I traded it in for $28 at best buy, then bought a navigation controller for $15 at gamestop.

I've been using it a lot though, played through RE5 Gold several times and played through Dead Space Extraction (which was unplayable for me with the dualshock..).

I know the Gold Box updates everyday at 2 AM central. And I believe the first deal starts at 8 AM central.

Yes, but the time between deals varies between 2 to 4 hours.

I would not be surprised to see a lot of Sony stuff in the Gold Box as a counter to all of the Gears of War 3 promotions going on in the same day.
