Skyfall (James Bond 23) -11/9/12 -Title Credits online!

Well after some studio trouble, the next bond is a go, with Daniel Craig returning as 007. Filming starts this month with a release date of next Nov 2012. This is weird because they usually shoot the last bond movies several months before they are released....hmmm... will this be more action packed/cg?

QoS was pretty action packed and was a disappointment, albeit a fun watch. Casino Royale was glorious though, perhaps not as a Bond film but as its own movie. My favorite of the franchise, personally.

Hoping for the best.

Hope this bond doesn't end up like Bronson only making one good movie and the rest is just shit.

I would have to agree with the assessment of QoS and CR, though I've found that if you look at both movies together as a single story, it has better viewing than each one on its own. Since QoS picks up right at the end of CR, it's pretty much two halves of a longer movie.

Also, I can hope that Skyfall picks up the seeds of Quantum being the next evil organization to fight like we had with SPECTRE.

I need to watch the Daniel Crag movies again. I know I saw them but I have almost zero recollection of what they were about but I do remember an insane action scene in a construction site. Parkour!

That's the first scene from Casino Royale.

I think that's the general consensus.

No kidding, it's like Casino Royale was the Goldeneye of this gen. QoS made the mistake of taking itself too seriously, which is not what Bond is about. Even Layer Cake stands out as a better film than QoS sadly.

Hmm, I loved QoS, but I guess I'm in the minority.

The new title music is up.... hmmm... I actually kinda like it compared to the QoS Theme.

Also it is noted that David Arnold , who scored the last 5 movies IS NOT doing this one? Wow... I thought he was doing a great job scoring Bond.......ok I'll give Thomas Newman a chance.

Meh.

The best Bond theme is still "Live and Let Die", although I'm personally sick of hearing it.

I dunno but I liked Chris Cornell's "You know my name." music for CR.

Speaking of which, I gotta order this one:

15 minutes for the opening teaser? damn. I am curious about the IMAX Scenes.........it would seem that with all the locations they shoot for the series that it would be good for the camera.

Fascinating - it is a good track in its own right, though. Have you heard the David Arnold cover album? Propellorhead's cover of OHMSS and Iggy Pop covering "We Have All the Time in the World" are worth going out of your way to hear.

From what I remember all the post release tv spots , they always say that.

To me Bond has never been a block buster or a highly anticipated film. If it comes out, great, if not....shrug oh well. I'll be around for the 75th anniversary , but not for the 100th.
