This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, trade-in values, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After searching for a game title, click the
icon to pop-up a window with pricing information.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.
Example: gears of war prices
Example: ninjatown review

Server Not Found error messages
Hey folks, I'm not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this but since last night when I click on a forum it gives me a "Server Not found" error message. It happened on my regular PC last night but then it was fine again, but now on the mobile site it's doing the same thing.
The problem appears to stem from some sort of URL change that may have been done lately. When you're in a subforum and you hit the site's "Back" button (again on mobile version), it takes you back to the list of forums, but now if you click one of them (in this case the VG deals subforum), it'll redirect you to a page like this: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forumdisplay.php?f=11 Instead of: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...splay.php?f=11 So as you can see one is in a forums folder and the other isn't. Am I the only one getting these kinds of errors? Perhaps I'll clear my cache and cookies to see if that helps

I did some tests and sure enough, when you're viewing the mobile style on one of the two servers (we're testing a new caching system on one of them), you'll get a problem where the cache interferes with some of the urls in the page. (Causing a "File not found" error when you click through a relative link.) That has since been fixed, and you shouldn't have any problems on either server. That said, I expected there to be a few bugs like this when I turned on the new caching system - if there's anything out of the ordinary you've spotted, post it here and I'll take a look. |
