Picked up Mafia 2 greatest hits for $10 and Tron:Evolution for 7.99 here in Chicago

Pulled about 10 good games from two of my target clearance bins and scanned them all. Only about three of them were listed at the prices in the OP; all the others were much higher. Bummer; my mileage did vary.

Got pretty lucky this past weekend. On Saturday found a copy of COD:MW3 Hardened Edition for 360 marked down 30%. Picked it up for 70 bucks.

Hadn't seen that thread yet. But yeah it was still a deal in my eyes. 1st hardened edition I've seen since launch week and it was 30 dollars off. Especially considering there hasn't really been a big sale on MW3 Vanilla version or a sale on COD Elite.

Here is the scoop on clearance. Target clearance markdown on items that are not seasonal require a markdown team to scan the item to activate the new price. There are reports that the markdowns can be done without a scan, as mentioned by hidden last copy stashes, but I've price checked a girl's coat, and it was at 50%. Went to a mark down member and ask him to scan it to see if it's on his markdown list for today. He did and a new cheaper price tag printed. A minute or so later I was looking for more coats and he asked me if there was another coat I was interested in, so he he could scan it to activate it.

They don't markdown every item each week. For east coast stores they seem to mark down items every 2-3 weeks each notch in the 30,50,75% category. On the west coast it seems to be 3-4 weeks between mark downs. There is the option that they skip a mark down. I've watched items for 5 weeks at 30% then suddenly it's 75% off. I've also seen it 4 weeks later.

advice. do what your doing, watch it and scan it.

Got mine last week for $10.48 at 70% off. It sounds like the original base price @ your store was $29.99 instead of $34.99.

Picked up UFC Trainer for $11.98. I hope it's worth it cause I hear the Kinect one gives you a decent workout.
