Hmmmm...seems too good to be true at first glance. I have this feeling that they will charge me $22 for the next month even if i try cancelling

this deal is actually pretty old and a person on slickdeals confirmed he was able to cancel. When he cancelled he was able to get another month for a $1!

Awww no way that actually works...i got the month for $1 and then got the extra free month . I still think they will charge me though lol i just dont trust gamefly.

Is that right? I see nothing about $1

I believe that you had to be a member once before to get the $1 (just a guess).

The second month is dependent on their "when you cancel we offer you a free month in hopes you stay" policy, if you did it in the past as a member you won't be offered it again.

That's the dollar membership. The other part is how much it costs afterwards.

It would have said $1 when you purchased, just check your billing history (charge should be $1.05)

If you had to be a prior member to get this deal, then I'm glad I didn't try it. I've never been a member of Gamefly, but I have bought a buncha stuff from their used game sales. The fact that you get everything with the games(including sometimes unused DLC codes) is great.

Thanks for the info. I just re-signed up. I had GF a few years ago.

My membership consisted of a 14 day free trial, and this worked for me.

Meh, I got one month for $1 but when I hit cancel it said add another month for 11.95. I hit continue to see how much tax they charge and they instantly took $13 from my debit card. Not really a big deal since I was planning on getting Gamefly soon anyway, but just be careful clicking continue with Gamefly lol

So, in order to claim this deal, you need to be a former member? (one that hasn't claimed the free month upon canceling)?

My subscription runs out on the 29th, if I cancel mine now and do this can I keep the games I have out to rent?
