I wanted to pick up Skyrim and Modern Warfare 3 at Best Buy. Skyrim is MSRP for $60, however MW3 is on sale for $40. At the same time, Toys R Us is having a Buy 1, Get 1 40$ off on All Video Games.

My question is, does/will Best Buy price match a sale from a competitor? Assuming BB will do it, will I be able to buy Skyrim for $60 and get MW3 for 40% off its sale price of $40.00?

Or... will BB charge the non-sale MSRP price for MW3 and then take off the 40% from the transaction? Assistance is greatly appreciated.

Best buy will price match competitors, but it doesn't match sales or gift card offers or other things like that. It's gonna be YMMV, but under their policies and from my experience no they won't.

My daughter got a lot of TRU gift cards due to her birthday and Christmas being two days apart... I'm wondering if, based on the ad, the Skylanders figures will drop back to $7.99 / $19.99. (The ad says "Buy 1 Get 1 25% off Skylanders Figures - $7.99 - $19.99 and shows singles and 3 packs).

I want to tell her no based on principle that they jacked up prices but in the same regards it's all she wants to buy with them...

Any idea if TRU will match BB for Modern warfare 3 for $40. Wanted to take advantage of that b1g1 40% off deal

Probably not... TRU won't price match after 12/24 (they did selective price matching for the holidays) and if they do a PM they won't let you use the discount on top of it.

Any chance Best Buy or Target still have limited editions of Battlefield 3 AND it would ring up at $39? I am not spending $15 on DLC even if I save $20 buying the game.

Nice price drops at Best Buy this week. Gonna match my launch day copy of AC:Revelations for sure, hopefully i can PM my MGS:Collection too. Getting 40$ back would be pretty nice

So I have my best buy receipt from when I paid $50 for Zelda. They will give me $10 back with it and the ad right? Also saints row is $5 cheaper now.. But the problem is that it was a freebee(b2g1)..will they still give me The $5?

They should. If not, then you could always buy it at the cheaper price and then return it on the old receipt.

If the game is sealed, Walmart will let you do a no receipt exchange for an item of the same value. On one rare occasion they offered me a gift card with the value of the item on it, but I wouldn't count on that happening since it isn't even their policy.
