Newegg and other online retailers have for 29.99 thats the retail, BB and GS are overcharging. This not a deal.

Direct retail from Sony BB always screws things up mostly in their favor.

Just remember: Cut down the street, not across the road. It would suck to fail killing yourself even more than failing to post a legitimate deal.

No. Threadcrapping someone for trying to be helpful sucks worse that just not posting.

Yeah, exactly. I didn't know this was selling for 29.99 anywhere so it was useful for me. Thanks OP.

If it stays this price than I might get it at launch along with Hot Shots Golf at launch. Gamestop is crazy selling some of these games at $40 when Amazon has them for $30 and below.

Thanks for the deal... regardless of what others say. This is a deal since it is lower than what others are selling. At this point it seems like a lot of CAG's are just being picky.

Eh, I don't really see anyone threadcrapping. Many people here jump on purchasing a game when it is on sale, especially for pre-orders. Having a few people set things back to reality isn't really a bad thing in mind. I don't see any harm in posting prices like this either, as it usually does help some people out.

No Wipeout for me, but I am all over Hotshots Golf

ya, considering sony, best buy and gamestop all have it for 40, how do we know what the msrp it? I preordered along with hot shots in case it actually is 40. I'll cancel if their are any other deals at launch.

Yep, I think NewEgg just did a $30 price point which caused Amazon to match. Everyone else has it for $40 including Sony.

Maybe I'm off my rocker here, but I thought that gamestop had Wipeout and Hotshots as one of the $30 titles a month or two ago.

Edit: Here's thre thread: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...d.php?t=311951

Since Gamestop (almost?) never runs price cuts on unreleased games, I'm wondering if there was a decision to bump the MSRP up on these two titles?

looks Sony upped the price, it was 29.99 yesterday..

Still 30 or 40 I'm not buying another Wipeout game so boring.

Maybe it is $40, I don't know. All I know is the price dropped to $30 almost everywhere after Sony announced the Vita lineup on PS Blog. Some places might be taking advantage by increasing the price though. For example Gamestop has the 4GB/8GB memory stick for $25/$35, $5 more above MSRP.

GameStop.com has been absolutely shit about updating their prices for Vita stuff on the site in a timely manner. It took them a few weeks to update memory card prices and now games are off until they decide to correct those prices. Even Madden 13 is on there for $39.99 with a slashed $59.99 next to it like they're doing us a favor for just selling it to us for $40.

They are doing a live chat on WipEout 2048 right now and I just asked what MSRP was. They said $40...so I stand corrected. Just put in my preorder now instead of waiting.
