If you didn't notice, the thumbnail for the product was Wipeout at the checkout screen on Amazon. It still said it was the card in text, but now people have contacted and confirmed that on the seller end the orders are showing for Wipeout.

Yeah, the fact that its showing up on 2 different sites as the memory card in description, title, and picture but the item number is seemingly tied to the game is pretty shady.

If I receive Wipeout I will be contacting Amazon. I have a lot of respect and faith on their ability to solve problems with everything sold on their website. They have always gone the extra mile to make sure I am satisfied with everything I buy on their website.

I have no experience with Buy.com so idk about people that bought it there, but I am pretty sure Amazon purchases will be honored somehow.

PS: The product number, at least on Amazon, matches the 32 GB Memory Card (try "saving it for later" and clicking on its name, or the name from your order and you will end up on the Memory Card page).

if they cancel our orders that's fine but if they actually ship Wipeout there is going to be a big mess on their hands, highly doubt either Buy.com or Amazon will be very pleased with the screw up either

I didn't go through Amazon at all. Just Tiger Direct or Buy.com

Amazon's A-to-Z buyer's guarantee is pretty solid, you're in good shape. I'm not too familiar with Buy.com's buyer guarantee so hopefully my cancellation goes through.

I just called buy.com and the lady that I spoke with confirmed that it was indeed the memory card. I asked her if it was the wrong item when I received it would they issue a refund and pay for the return shipping and she confirmed this as well.

I called too about a minute ago. I also got confirmation that it was a 32GB vita memory card sold by TigerDirect after just giving the order number and my account details. However, I'm thinking it will probably be cancelled tomorrow. More so now after what others have said.

Yep... hasn't been cancelled yet... maybe I'll get to keep this copy of Wipeout and not pay for it, haha.

Those of you ordering through buy.com, and getting a nice response over the phone...be prepared to be disappointed. You will get Wipeout, or your order will be cancelled. Without any notice.
None of these retailers are going to honor a $60.00 price mistake...maybe if it were a single order. But not with these many orders being placed.

Shouldn't it be can't say I did not warn you guys ?

Also what do we have to lose we have taken the steps necessary to check on the order. If I it goes through then we get a nice deal. If not, just a little hassle to return the item mostly at the sellers expense.

So what? It is not that big a deal. If it does go through good, if not move on.

People that are freaking out over trying to warn us all are either broke, jealous, or another part of the growing pocket of CAGs that are griefers.

Hmm. Nope. None of those.
However, we like to live in reality.

And what did you have to say to those who got the $.02 Vita memory card off Amazon, and it actually shipped? How about the free copy of Michael Jackson the Experience downloadable from PSN last week?

Never mind. I won't waste my time ordering, and congrats to those who may get one of these actually shipped. However, looking at all the parties involved (buy.com, circuitcity, tigerdirect...), it just looks like a mistake that will never be honored.

Ordered through buy.com, site states 32gb card and has the appropriate pic.

Where is everyone getting this Wipeout nonsense? There is absolutely nothing associated with the original deal link/my order with Wipeout.
