Packers 35
Bears 7

This game was closer than the final score indicates. I jumped out to a 21-7 lead midway through the 2nd, but Doc shut me down until I scored a couple garbage-time TDs late off of turnovers.

GG, doc. I know you had a rough game. Cutler was making some shitty throws. Give it some time to learn playing with Chicago, and you'll be a lot better. And I'm sorry about that dive on that TD run. I thought I was going to get tackled, so I hit the X button.

No worries dude! You are just a good player! Glad to have gotten beat on By the champs! You had an edge today though...it was Ring presentation night at Lambeau!

I think we can approve both of these now. As I mentioned and Ultimate Matt X agreed with, you might be overpaying a bit for Charles, but you could also argue that that's the price for trading him in division. I think the trade would be fine without the 4th rounder, but since you're the one pursuing the deal, I can understand the logic of just wanting to make sure it gets done.

If there are no other objections, I'll move the players after I advance the league. Oh, also, just so everyone is aware, NOW DVO is basically done trading for the season, lol.

Tried to play Rams/Seahawks tonight, but the connection was so bad that we had to finally give up. Damailman says it is his school's bad internet. It was like playing in stop motion, but we were toughing it out on our second try until the connection finally broke.

I know the league is supposed to advance tonight, so is it OK if we just sim this one? I don't really want to start over again at 11:50 p.m.

Or, if we can extend, I can play tomorrow ...

I'd like to avoid extensions at all costs this season. If it drops again, we'll have to sim it. If it becomes a regular problem for damailman, he'll have to drop.

Seahawks 21
Rams 14

Rams fall to 0-2 with a heartbreaking loss to rival Seattle. Miraculously, the connection seemed fine on our third try, and I blame the late hour for this loss. The pivotal moment in the game came when I was about to get at least a field goal at the end of the second quarter. I pushed the wrong button for my receiver, and Sam Bradford just lobbed it up there for an easy INT. Had I gotten points there, I would have been ahead 17-14 in the third, which would have changed the way I played the rest of the game. Instead, we were tied 14 all, and I couldn't milk the clock.

GG damailman. Next time, I'll know not to start a game that late! I'm exhausted.

All right, we have advanced to Week 3, and I moved the players from the two trades today. I also went ahead and put James Jones and Kroy Biermann on their new teams since that hadn't been done yet. Everybody should be good to go for week 3. Deadline is 3/1!

Maybe I will dip my toes into the trade market this season after all.

I could use some help at offensive tackle (preferably RT) and LB.

Guys I'm strongly looking to move:

Pierre Thomas, HB, 78 OVR, Age 27, POT B
Willis McGahee, DT, 78 OVR, Age 30, POT C
Chris Ivory, HB, 74 OVR, Age 24, POT B

I would entertain offers for Marques Colston, WR, 88 OVR, Age 29, POT A...but I'd have to get a WR back because I only have 5 on my team, and one of them is out for 8 weeks. I'd also be willing to move a CB if the offer was right.

Np, we're good now.

I am not on my computer and won't be until this evening (PMing doesnt work well on my phone). I believe we play this week. Do you have any times available in the evening up until 10pm EST?

I have all this week off, so any evening at any time will mostly work. Tonight, I can't play until after 9 EST, though.

Is it the responsibility of the primary team to contact the secondary team? This isn't directed at anyone, just wanted to know the standard protocol.

Also....go Chiefs

Yes. For obvious reasons, the game matters more to the primary team, so they should be the one reaching out.
