Yep, Xenoblade will only be sold at GameStop or through Nintendo's own website. It's a bit strange and very frustrating. (I much prefer Amazon)

Anyhow, this might tempt me to buy Xenoblade a second time after buying the European version last summer. I wish we had more details about this artbook, though.

It will most likely be a cheap, flimsy bonus, but whatever. It's time to put my $25 gift card to use.

Yep. I even had it on pre-order from Amazon for ages and ages, like back when it was still called Monado, and I finally got a message from them a little bit ago that they had to cancel it as they are unable to sell it.

I was going to buy direct from Nintendo but for an artbook, I don't mind giving GameStop a little business.

Wonder if this will end up being rare, or sell out and quickly get a second printing.

Does anyone know if this game has a steelbook edition? I wish Nintendo was doing more considering the praise this game seems to be garnering and the fact that it's retailer exclusive.

There was only a steelbook released for France. That's it. :(

Bummer, I would much prefer a steelbook over an art book, just because I have a feeling the art book will be small and disappointing.

Awesome that there is going to be a pre-order bonus! I pre-ordered this from Gamestop about a month ago.

I was debating on pre-ordering a second copy since I have a feeling this game is going to go unnoticed by many gamers given the circumstances of its availability.

I preordered this back in December, but bonuses like this always sweeten the deal. Count me pleasantly surprised.

Probably won't be as good as the one from Game of Thrones... but one can hope... can he not...?

Thanks OP I was waiting to Pre-Order this, finally picked it up, great deal with the Art book. I have a feeling this game is going to be hard to come by a year from now. I just hope they don't immediately do a HD wii U remake and screw us all over.

Of course, hence the screwing us over and making us double dip.

Don't get me wrong, I hope it happens, but not for a few years. That way the game / story won't be completely fresh in our minds.

this seems to be one of those pre-order bonuses that makes MSRP worth the buy. in for one.

As stated earlie in the thread, you still get the art book according to GameStop. Probably first dibs actually.

Went in to preorder yesterday and they had no record of an artbook. I assume it just hasn't entered their systems yet but is there a precedent of not getting the preorder bonus? I'll be very mad if I miss out on it, and would consider cancelling the Gamestop order.

im really hoping people dont sleep on this game and hold off on buying it till it drops into their "sweetspot."

this artbook is just a little icing on the cake, but i cant wait to play this game.

For most games I would say waiting for a price drop is a perfectly sensible tactic, however with this one it was a minor miracle that we got an official release at all.

If people want to see more games like this, and if you like RPGs at all you should, then we really need to support it. I don't say that very many times and I'm all about pinching a penny, but I'll definitely make an exception here and feel good about doing so.
