Note that I am not advocating piracy.
Custom firmware also lets you run digital backups of UMDs you already own, assuming you have a way to make backups (and if you already own UMDs, chances are you already own an older PSP, so there you go). Again, notpiracyhooray!

So, not only is the Go perfectly capable of playing nearly the entire PSP library, it's also smaller (which, personally, I prefer, despite the slightly smaller screen), has 16 gigs of memory built-in, and you can enjoy video-out from the comfort of your couch with a Dual Shock 3. Go is the only model of PSP that can be paired with a DS3 (EDIT: can the Vita do that? I honestly don't know). In fact, if you're playing a PSOne game on a PSPGo with a DS3, you can set it to take advantage of every button on the controller, dual analog sticks and four shoulder buttons and all.

I've beat this horse to death in other threads, but I'll say it again: the PSPGo was a stupid value proposition at $250, but that doesn't mean it's not an awesome system, and a no-brainer at $50.

Ended up buying a psp go and a soft case today. I'll have to start reading about what the hell I can actually do with it but I figure $50 won't be bad for the kids to play with on a long drive.

That's odd. Final Fantasy XIII is $18 when I bought it for $5

This.

I got my Go a while back for $100 from the Macy's vending machine thing deal and I love it. It really is a nice piece of hardware, it was just far too expensive for a PSP revision.

Anyone know what is the lowest price for Ultimate Sega collection? (any retailer or online)

For some reason, I was in the mood to get down on some old Street of Rage!

Right now it's $12.99 at Kmart on clearance, though I believe clearance drops are happening again there as well now. So it might be $10 or under soon enough if you can wait.

I believe that Sears is going to start pushing these clearance drops faster. I'm sure they will lower them down next month. I would say some games won't drop below 10 bucks till May or June.

Nothing for me at the local Sears yesterday. Things drop slower and somehow move quicker now. Saw two 250 GB HDDs for the old non-slim 360 and an old packaging white wireless 360 controller but both were still full price (99.99 and 49.99 respectively). Dang

Click this:

Question:

The google shopping link is showing my sears is OOS for the 2000 pt Wii cards.

When I went in earlier they must of had 20 or so, right next to a bunch of 3DS and DS point cards.

Do these have to be in special packaging to qualify for the ~ $11 price? Mine weren't in blister packs or anything they were just stand alone cards just like the PSN or Xbox Live cards.

Clearance price for the wii points applies only to the plastic blister packs and not the unpackaged cards.

Looks like the Go is hitting clearance everywhere. I was in BB earlier and they had them setting on a table with a large sign for $99 (also FIBA 10 for PS3 for $10).

I had gone in to see if they had the Nikkon D3000 and they told me they could order it (very little of ANYTHING at my store). Would they actually ship a clearance item from another store if I requested it?

Chances are that the clearanced Wii point cards you're looking for are the ones in the blister packs.

This. My store had stacks of the Wii points cards that have to be activated by sliding them on the register. The blister packs (plastic clam shells that cut your hand when you cut them open) are an older version that is active when it's in the store. Since the store pre-pays for this type, it's inventory sitting on their books and can be clearanced. The other kind probably won't be.

The link I provided is for the kind that is clearanced, not the other kind.

I read about that here a while back but never got lucky enough to find them myself. Are you still finding them on clearance?
