I also bought Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (used) and it came with an online code on the receipt. Redeemed it and it was legit; I got a free online code. This also happened to me when I bought Batman: Arkham City (used) from GS.

Can you wait a couple of weeks after games have been released, snatch an used copy, and get a free online code in the receipt? Is it only for certain games? Anyone know why?

Pretty sure they run it as the same as the standard since the GOTY content is on codes.

GameStop worked a deal with WB for Arkham City codes. No idea on Reckoning.

I believe with certain games, Gamestop has made a deal with the publisher to print up codes for DLC that was specific to buying a new copy.

There is a 2 Disc GOTY version that has the DLC on the second disc for 360 that I have.

xbox 360 has FALLEN to 45 (with 50 addon) 95 no longer the 100 :(

though i still take 95 bucks for a 2008 model that has been sitting in a damp basement for the last 3 years

Mass Effect 3 (Xbox 360) is $25.00 plus an automatic extra $5.00 for a limited time. So it's $30 TIV.

Virtua Fighter 5 also dropped to $1.50 for the 360.

was was stored in a plastic tight contaner so there was no way water would got to it... i just never had the room to hook the system back up after my cousin moved in with us... love to get a ps3 but just dont have the room to hook it up

sort of laugh when i saw the 256mb memory card sticking out of it.... man that wouldnt hold nothing today

Ah, did not know that. I know there is a version with just codes though. That's probably what GameStop uses for the TIV.

I'm not sure, if you call in to get the TIV they ask you which version it is. So the different versions are most likely seperate in their computer.

Any idea what they check for when you trade in a Dualshock 3 Controller?

No idea what happened with mine, but out of nowhere the left stick keeps getting locked on something near the middle (And making a popping/clicking noise). Cant get the damn screws off, and nothing seems to be stuck in it

Didnt want to fork out 55$ for a new controller, but looks like i'll have to

Eppppp! Why not fork it out at Amazon for $40 on the black controller? Even the New Owners Kit is still 45.

Sticky/stuck/broken buttons and analog sticks broken/stuck.

Dont really have the cash atm, if i have to pay cash somewhere, not gonna be able to get Resident Evil next week. So trade in credit is my only choice

And the stick isnt really broken, but it keeps getting locked in like 2 different positions (Either above the center or below it), it still works fine, but it refuses to realign to the center. Though, i cant play most games with it like this <_<
