Best part? They were like $4 a piece!
EDIT: And oh yeah...it's a pretty crappy figure. The Sammy head doesn't stay on well, the joints sound awful and the whole thing is pretty cheap feeling.

You don't give them your payment info until your items are in stock and they are ready to ship. You will then get an email from them with your total (including shipping) and a link to their site to fill out payment. I think they accept some credit cards now, but the standard when dealing with overseas companies is to use PayPal. Once they have confirmed your payment, your items are shipped (usually the day after payment).

I think I will have to get these. They will look out of place next to all the F4F and other statues but I will a place for them. They actually look sexier than the Zero Suit released by F4F.

Also just going to complain a bit more due to never finding a good priced varia suit F4F.

Added Skyward Sword Link Figma and Sonic Nendoroid.

I ordered Link but passed on Sonic as I'm much more of a Nintendo fan than Sega. Also, Nendoroid is supposed to be a cutesy interpretation of a character, but the Sonic Nendoroid just looks like regular Sonic :P

Hobby Search is having a 50% off shipping promo right now if you order using pay-pal pre-approved. This is great for ordering with EMS which is the fastest/best overseas shipping but is usually too expensive. Promo is valid on preorders but must be placed by June 15 (2 days from now). I ordered Skyward Sword Link Figma using this deal. The total with EMS should be about $50 (the same price as purchasing from AmiAmi with Registered SAL, but should only take about 2 days to arrive instead of 2 weeks).

Both Samus figures should be coming out soon (figures do get delayed like video games, but I think these will be on time). Preorders for these have sold out at most sites. There will probably be some available on the day of release. If you missed out on preordering, be sure to check the retailer sites regularly. Once available again they can sell out in mere hours.

This morning I pre-ordered the Link Skyward figure from Play-asia for 46 + 17 fedex, very exited for when it ships in October. It's a bit expensive but worth it. You don't see many Nintendo figures and that Link is awesome. Thought I would hurry before it pre-orders out. I would love that zero suit samus, but it's really expensive.

Both Samus figures pushed back to July :( Delays are unfortunately common with Japanese figures.

Preordered the Link figure. Really pissed at myself for missing the preorders on both Sammy figures. I hope they have them In Stock somewhere when they do release.

I just wanted to check if the Samus figures were still coming... and now, I have a Link figure preordered.:-/

Hehe, be glad I'm only posting game figures. I collect anime figures too and just broke my wallet paying for:

Varia Suit Samus Figma now has a release date of 7/7. If you missed out on preorder, be sure to check the sites in op on the release day for chance of extra stock (may sell out fast, so check regularly if you are really interested).

Zero Suit Samus figure still has no firm release day, so 7/30 is the current estimate. For me that means waiting longer to get the Figma since they are shipping together. Oh well, worth it to me to save some $.

i notice on some sites the link figure is still avalaible while the samus one is just plain gone already everywhere

im keeping an eye out for the play arts kai raiden. but with solidus going for $100-$150. i have my doubts about picking raiden up, in the future

Varia Suit Figma Samus is now released. Haven't seen any order openings for her, but keep checking the op sites today and tomorrow if interested.

Zero Suit Samus figure just got an opening on amiami. She's 6980 yen (6% off msrp) instead of the previous preorder price of 5750 (22% off). Her expected release date is now 7/11.

That's because Link Figma preorders only started three weeks ago, while the Samus figures preorders opened months ago. Popular figures usually sell out of preorders at least two months before release.

I received a watch list email last night from Hobby Search, saying Varia Samus was ready for order (at 10:26 PM). By the time I got back to my apartment at 10:50, the page didn't show any for sale. :/

I'm not too well versed in Figma's releases. Are they a "Once they're gone, they're gone" kinda company or will we be able to find any outside of preordering?

Once a figure is gone, it is gone for good. There is usually at least a little extra stock outside of the preorders. This stock can appear at any time and then disappear very quickly (see Rig's comment ^). Sometimes they do re-release later on (several months or even over a year later), but don't count on it.
