Looks like the two editions of AC3 will have different things though... which kind of sucks if you want to collect or something. You know, for the collector's out there...

This was a European announcement only. While it is very likely there will be one or more US collector's editions, it is not certain that they will be similar to what is pictured here. In fact, Europe has always gotten very different ce's of this series than we have received.

I got an e-mail from the NISA Online Store letting me know about the Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland - Limited Edition: Grand Finale Set (PS3). Wow, that is one long title! It is a NISA Online Store exclusive and comes with free standard shipping. Information about this limited edition has been added to the OP.

EU Ass Creed LEs are always always ALWAYS better than ours. Seeing how awesome this one is only sets me up for the disappointment that will be ours.

Going to have my UK friend get me that Freedom Edition on pre-order

Are any of these coming to the US? As the worlds largest AC fan I demand it otherwise I'll see Ubisoft in court!

I hope the US versions will be more physical than the last iteration of the series (i.e. Revelation's DLC oriented signature edition).

Strange, both Zavvi and hmv have the Join or Die Editions up for pre-order (along with standard), but neither one have the Freedom Edition listed yet. FWIW, hmv has the Join or Die set at 67.99 while Zavvi has it at 56.85 (both prices in GBP obviously).

that definitely is a nice jacket but nowhere near $1200 nice. maybe $150-$200 tops.

Added the Assassins creed III ce's mentioned earlier to the main post. It appears as of now the Freedom edition is Gamestop exclusive and the Join or die edition is just the regular US CE available everywhere. UK is getting a separate regular CE

The EU one is basically just a collectible case and 1 DLC, so the US wins on this CE

Thanks, I didn't know we were actually getting these CEs here, and it helps to know the Freedom Edition is GS-exclusive even though I'm probably just going to get the JoD Edition (I, like many others, already have the steelbook ).
