I am interested in checking out ComicZeal. Does anyone know if it has DropBox integration for storing comics?

I am currently using CloudReader and like it because I can load from DropBox rather than having to store comics on my iPad, or having to connect it to a computer to load comics. It's free and works well.

ComicZeal does have Dropbox support. That's one of the main reasons I use Dropbox. It opens and unpacks right in the program.

Wow this is really cool. I was using comiczeal a long time ago and I don't think it had it then.

I hate to add to all of the praise, but the only reason I was reading comic books at all was because I had a great comic book reader (ipad + comiczeal).

I bought Comic Glass because it was cheaper than Comic Zeal. You can use the Dropbox app to move stuff into Comic Glass because the app doesn't have native Dropbox support.

"You can upload your cbr/cbz files into Dropbox and use the Dropbox app to d/l. Once it's d/l'ed the app will say its unable to open but in the upper right corner there's a "open in" (doesn't say it but it's the rightmost corner, last button on the right). Once you click that comic zeal is an option and you select it. After selecting it comic zeal will open and unpack and sort the book for you."

I have Comic Zeal as well, paid the $5 and I rarely buy apps that expensive. I love it! I wish dropbox was faster and that you didn't have to load every individual comic. I just wish you could do them in bulk. It works better by plugging it in the computer and in iTunes you just drag them onto the app. With dropbox you're basically waiting for it to upload to your account, then you need to download it to your ipad and then copy it over to comic zeal and repeat for every other comic you have. That's a lot of steps to go through for each individual issue.

I just put my comics on a networked hard drive and use FileBrowser to import to Comic Zeal. A lot faster over the LAN than having to upload and download.

FYI, when played that way you aren't credited for goals. I'm not sure if it uses the Facebook leaderboards either. Figured I'd mention that as I thought it was broken, but it appears to be intentional. When paid for, you do get credit for goals accomplished as expected.

I don't think in Medieval there is any way to do the super skill shot because any tap registers as launching. You need to hold the left flipper in when launching to try for the super skill shot, and so you can't do that. Otherwise it plays quite well. Smooth as butter on an iPad 2 and it looks great.

Bride of Pinbot is also available. It plays well, but ludicrously easy. I got the billion point shot twice in my first game, and probably 6 or 7 big wheel rewards total. Ridiculous.

The Battlefield 3 Battlelog app is now available for free.

Score one for iCloud. Apparently my infinity blade 2 iCloud save got eaten between devices. Thanks bunches Apple. You are excellent stewards of my data, morons.

Did you lose your save on the originating device, or did it just not transfer to your other device(s)? I don't think the app should ever take an older save and overwrite a newer one with it. If it did do that, it may be be Infinity Blade 2 that was at fault for that part of it. Which is not to say that iCloud saves are working well - I had problems with Swordigo, but never lost anything, just couldn't play on my iPad for a while because it had an older save. Eventually it synced it over and then I just stuck to playing on the iPad.

IB2 hadn't been on my old phone in ages.

I think what happened is that I didn't have an iCloud password keyed in on the new device so IB2 started from scratch. I go to key in the pass and restart IB2 but the scratch save is newer so welp enjoy your pointless grind fest.

Still lookin to trade an app. PM if interested. (giving IB2 or Max Payne for Tweetbot HD)
