Updated with game trade-in fine print. I got a tip about the ad yesterday and jumped the gun a bit early without 100% of the details and I've learned from my mistake, so sorry everyone.

The good news is Gears 3, Uncharted 3, and AC:R for as little as $10!

Didn't this same promo in late 2011 have a list of accepted games that came along with it on the site after the Sunday ad posted?

The physical ad says "any 2 video games" so we'll see how it pans out tomorrow. Added a link to the site to see what games are taken. I searched
"Madden" as an example, and they take Madden's back to 07 on Xbox 360, and as far back as 2005 on DS. They even take over 300 PS1 games.

There was a promo but it wasn't for a coupon, it was for additional trade in credit. There was a list for that one, but apparently not for this one.

I spent a lot of time finding "My Little Pony" type games (better trade in credit for kids games) for cheap at Gamestops to maximize.

What do you plan on getting with the $20 off besides UC3,Gears of War 3, and Assassins Creed Revelations? The rest of the games above $29.99 are probably at retail price of $59.99.

If like the previous promotion, I think the trade-in game must be listed in their 'nextworth' inventory in order to qualify. For the prudent, there are a few cheap oldies if you scan hard enough. In your case, if your 2 ps2 games can be found here :

http://target.nextworth.com/search/1...playstation_2/

you should be golden.

Why does everyone think they can trade in throwaways for this promotion. I guarantee it'll be a select list of games you can trade that are recent releases.

Your only getting a $20 TIV coupon with a >$29.99 price point valid only the same day. With the BB and GS promo's going on lately, most recent releases are fetching that or more for 1 game, let alone these 2.

I am guessing anything in the inventory will work. I traded in my 2 year old Kodak digital camera a few months back and got a $50 off new camera purchase. The value was showing up at $1 TIV before the coupon deal was applied.

Fortunately, my GS is next to my Target. Wonder if EA is going to re-release Madden 07 after the huge spike in sales this week.

For the record, Reckoning isn't their MMO, the MMO is still being worked on. Big Huge Games was picked up to do the single player game, while 38 Studios is working on the MMO (Codename Copernicus).
