Same here. Completely stupid. Luckily it takes about 10 seconds per day to complete my searches, but it's still stupid that they dropped everyone back to Silver.

I noticed this AM got kicked down to sliver too, immediately came here to confirm I was not alone. But what I noticed is my count towards Gold said 1 of 150 after doing my 20 searches today. Now a few minutes later it says 0 of 150! HUH? Anyone else see that? And if they are resetting for the new month, well I got to Gold a week into April, soooo shouldn't it go by that? No biggie overall as well as it does start counting up to Gold again.

Also I see talk here of people being bumped down to only being allowed 10 points for searches a day. Since I started using Bing Rewards I've ONLY had the ability for 10 points in searches a day. it used to fluctuate as in 5 searches = 1 point, but for the last several months has been 2 = 1 point. I thought this was universal, is it not?

for old accounts (older then 3 months) it is all the same 10 points for searching plus 3 points daily offer.
Only new accounts get different bonuses for searching and clicking offers.

Well ain't that a beach! 'Penalized' for being a long term member. I occasionally get days with a bunch of new offers to get more than the 13 points a day, but very few and far between. Maybe only 2 times in the last year. Thanks for some clarification.

while some new bing reward members do get 10 points with daily offers plus 44 points in searching (and thats every day amount);
many only get 8 daily points with no offers at all.
Also these amounts stay for account for about 2 weeks, then get changed into something else;
Also accounts that hit 3 months mark get kicked into old account level, where everyone is getting the same 10+3 daily points.

I lost my gold stats to and the 0 of 150 searches reseted. Grrrr.

Maybe it is a bug? I just got gold the other day and got dropped too. How do you track searches?

I sent an email to Bing's support politely asking to clarify the whole thing. I know it may be an act of futility, but maybe if enough people email them, they'll tell us SOMETHING. If I get a reply I'll let all know.

I'll join the ranks of everyone else who's mentioned that they've been demoted to Silver. I'll be sending 'em an email, too, if only to annoy 'em a bit.

After being demoted to Silver, looks like I just jumped back to Gold today. It was probably just a glitch on their end, nothing to be worried about.

Yup looks like I'm back up to gold too! Haven't gotten a response to my email yet to confirm a glitch, but no matter!

Has anyone else run into the cap on the number of MS points from Bing Rewards that can be redeemed to a single gamertag? Every time I try to redeem the codes I get from Bing Rewards I get "An error has occurred during the transaction. Please try again later." I checked and I've redeemed exactly 20000 worth of MS points, and others around the internet seem to be having similar problems at this level. I guess I'm moving on to Amazon GCs.

Most of the people using bing has reached the cap, me as well - exactly 20k. Redeem some codes in another gamertag and play the games with your main one.

It makes sense to have some cap for promo codes.

I thought they removed the caps, no? I just checked in Bing's own fourum and found this posted in December:

We would like to inform you that there is no more cap limit on how many points or gift cards you want to redeem. But be reminded that once you order a Reward, it cannot be cancelled by you nor can you return your Reward for a refund of credits.
