Heavily debating this. I have a few friends totally obsessed with this game, but I've been trying to avoid it.

For some reason the shirt cancels out the $49.99 coupon and vice versa. So I took the $50 discount obviously and eff the shirt.

If anyone in the LA area is looking for the 360 version, Pacoima had about at least 20 around 5:30PM last night

The rep just over-rode that and had a manager approve it. They agreed that this was basically the purchase of a starter pack and removed the $50 charger for the shirt and then the additional $50 for the coupon. Guess it's YMMV though

Yeah normally I would but a) the shirt is aiyt. b) the CSR was eyeballing my coupon like I made it up or something. I was like, what do you think it I faked it?

the deal is actually posted on their website and links directly off of your rewards zone page. let him eyeball it all he wants, it's a company deal that he has to honor. the shirt and volcanic vault is another issue. might try going back today and see if they have any spares of the volcanic vault.

The Volcanic vault rung up at $25.00 for some reason when they scanned it, so he checked with some other guy and apparently the promotion is over. I didn't make a fuss over it though, the deal is already awesome

so any others confirm they can just pullup your RZ # and the price will ring up?

also is there any way to tell if the mega pack has the Volcano thing?

Correct. Once they pull up your RZ, there should be a prompt on their screen informing them of the promotion. I didn't print out a coupon or anything. Just brought the Mega Pack to checkout.

Just got one of these for 360 yeterday - been playing it with my wife and it's a lot of fun.

I almost grabbed the standard Skylanders set for 50% off ($35) at a closing Sears a few weeks ago. This surprisingly AWESOME deal made me so grateful I didn't. $50 coupon plus $10 coupon from a few days back brought this to $44 and change after tax. Incredible.

... until I popped the disc in only to find it's defective. Ah well, the price makes the hassle easier to bear.

So i went but they had n ps3 or xbox versions and had like 20 of the wii versions

but on the way the way to my girlfriends i just figured since you guys said the starter pack is a sealed retail one, so i can buy the wii megapack, then take the starter pack to walmart and say i grAbbed the wrong console one and trade it for an xbox pack, and still keep the toy packs from the mega pack , right?

i ended up getting the PS3 version. Me and the Son are enjoying it so far. I can see the addiction to buying more figures. Kudos to activision taking a chance on something unique and different. Something the video game world needed.
