Are you sure? When I asked for quotes on both that and the original DR2 for three days ago, I was told $8 for DR2 and $7 for DR2: OtR. Did it rise $1 already?

My fault, you're correct. I asked the lady before I left the tiv for DR2 after I had just traded OTR.

Walked out of GS with my best haul to date. I traded in:

Unit 13 - $15
Wipeout 2048 (Vita) - $14
AC2 - $4
Red Dead Redemption - $9
Forza 4 (2 disc) - $21
Kirby's Epic Yarn - $5
DK Country Returns - $20
New Super Mario Bros. Wii - $20
Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time - $6
MLB 12: The Show - $22
Rayman Origins - $12
2 Wireless Controllers - $16

After the PuR bonus and the bonus for trading in 7 games, I ended up with a credit of $243 dollars and change. I then turned that into an Aqua Blue 3DS, Mario Kart 7, Super Mario Land 3D, and the 3DS starter kit for just under $40 after tax. Score one for the good guys.

I have infamous 2 from collectors edition, will they accept the game even if it says not for resale on the box? thanks

also, does hardware count for trade in? i have a old 20gb xbox hard drive, wonder how much i can get for that.

You can just take the Infamous 2 disc out of the box and trade it in by itself; you'll get the same value (unless it's scratched up, in which case you'll be hit with refurbishing fees).

Gamestop cares not for "not for resale" on the box, employee just has to look up the game manually.

Those labels are so someone doesn't buy the CE, take all the goodies, then return the game by itself since it would still be sealed.

They cap you at 1G. After $1000 your card cannot take any more credit and the transaction will get declined unless it is put on another trade credit card
Old 05-23-2012, 04:36 AM   #2152
Traded in 4 sets of 7s for $325. I'll post the values tomorrow.
Old 05-23-2012, 09:05 AM   #2153
From 5/20

LA Noire (Regular Edition) $6.00
Dragon Age 2 $4.50

Total $11.55 After Bonuses couldn't find a 3rd game :(

It's the same people who enter threads and say ''I have too big of a backlog but I'm gonna buy the game anyways'' and never play it

im not sure how that fits. trading in games to get that much credit requires a lot of trading and pre calculating as just blindly trading stuff in to gamestop will rob you blind.

buying and adding to backlog is illogical sure. but its not quite the same as racking up 1000 dollars in credit somewhere.

I buy all my games through amazon and sell to gamestop when they have deals like this and have close to $800 credit.
