Not sure, we just glimpsed at it. Stop by your local BBY and ask. They should be able to tell you which stores has them and which stores has some on transit. Be sure to bring the SKU number. Without it, they won't be able to find it in their systems.

I would contact a manager about it, but that seems kinda like a bitch move to do since the orders are either full paid or almost fully paid. I wish it was up for grabs after 48 hours instead of YMMV.

48 hours would be retarded. Imagine if you couldn't get to the store within 2 days after release due to a business trip or some other reason. You would never want that kind of store policy that favors scalpers rather than people that already "paid" (and for a lot of people, that means in cash) for their item.

If there's anyone in Northwest Indiana, try the Mishawaka Best Buy. I called and they had one today for me. Oddly enough they still show it in stock on their site(Note, when I made the same purchase from one in Michigan earlier in the week, their system immediately changed to " No Availability")

How long does best buy hold pre orders? And does it matter if its fully paid? Or are they the same with Gamestop and its dependent on the store?

Yeah that's what thought. Though some say I should make a complaint to corporate, I don't really want to waste my time and it won't change the overall situation here in the greater LA area. I generally don't share the extreme hatred towards GS like fellow CAGs, I just refuse to shop there if I can help it.

On a related note, what happened to the rumor that more shipments will be coming in on June 1st?

I was told best buy still had some that were at their warehouse, but I just checked with a store employee and he doesn't show any on order for any locations yet.

I was talking to BBY's sales rep the other day. Rumor seems to be false when he checked the inventory for me. The only ones that's getting it so far is Nevada (3 copies).

not sure if this work, but i check with the pre-order thing they have at best buy. if you select the diablo thing and check. It will tell you where has it around the area. I know some has them because I called earlier. But because the people that pre-order called in and have the manager hold it for them.

Another way is the Gamestop apps. I actually used it and picked up 2. I think its easier to grab them from gamestop now because it is over a week now. Also I think it depends if you asked a helpful employee. I know I asked some that straight up told me everyone picked it up. However when I call a day later, another employee said different things like "they had one left that no one picked it up." So they let me buy it.

Hopefully it helps some people to get some.

Did the list of stores that were showing as in stock using the pre-order kiosk match up with the stores showing in stock using the online stock locator link posted a few pages back?

well for my case it showed a little more. Not sure if its because of the different time that i checked.

Calling Corporate is basically like doing a public service for the company. You help them identify their problem stores, but ultimately the vast majority of benefits will be absorbed by the company itself.
