Is there a link somewhere for the gamers coupon for AC:R everyone is talking about? I checked the mobile app and the website, and there's nothing like that listed anywhere.

We already have (but haven't played) all the previous AC games, so we might as well add this to our collection for $10!

You can either buy the magazine in store for $5 and use to coupon in it or you can sign up in store for gamer's club unlocked for $15/year. They will give you the current issue of the magazine for free when you sign up for gamer's club unlocked.

AH.. good to know! We signed up to the club last month for the Spiro starter pack promotion. So is the coupon $20 off then off any game purchase, or something specific?

Even for $15, that'd be a steal.

The gamer's club is new to us.. does it look like a good deal so far?

Just a quick expansion on this deal; I wanted MLB 12 the Show, which never goes on sale. I purchased MLB 12 ($59.99) along w/ MoneyBall ($22.99) for the $59.99 price. When it alll rings together, discounts are taken off of both items; MLB 12 was $43.xx and Moneyball was $16.xx. Clearly on the receipt it says "RETURN VALUE" - easy as can be, walk in w/ the "free" movie and your receipt, and get the return value credited back to your card. Use RedCard and you score MLB12 for about $42.

Idk of the other 3 movies have a higher base MSRP, but the deal would get sweeter if the movie's base price was higher.

Happy CAG'ing.

there's numerous coupons some for specific titles others for $10 off all used games over $30. They change each issue.

Thanks for that link! We were spending our game money with Kmart when they had those great deals last holiday season, and used amazon before that, but it looks like best buy has the best game deals right now.

We followed the advice here, and now have AC:R with the 1st game on it, plus the upgraded membership.

Do they mail you the welcome coupons?

Also, since we just joined, will we actually get next month's mag in a reasonble timeframe to use the coupons from it?

Apparently. And it looks like Shipwreck won't be inclined to pick up this particular deal.

To be honest even last year BB was beating kmart & AMZ, it started with the @gamer coupons but there fall DOTD's combined with the 5 for $100 deal BB just rode the wave & people saved.

You most likely won't get next months at all & the welcome kits are sent out in waves. Your going to need to befriend a BB gaming rep in-store to get them to allow you to use the store mag for next month. As for the welcome kit ppost on the BB forums page in the gamers club section & the rep there will assist in the timeframe.

In the OP of the May @gamer coupons thread in the blue section you can vote so we can get the welcome kits to be handled in-store along with the house copies of coupons to be allowed for customers in your situation.

There's other things to vote for as well which will benefitall types of game buyers(new, used, clearance, cheapy)
