In a way I'm glad there is no more dlc for Gears 3 since I didn't want to spend anymore money on maps but at the same time I wouldn't mind River.

I assumed there would be another Gears game eventually... I didn't expect it to be announced this soon.

So why is epic killing DLC to gow 3 if another company is doing GOW 4? They all use the same guys?

im pretty sure the 4 DLC packs were done before the game came out, or done soon after. The only thing i think they worked on that wasnt planned was re-up system and guardian. We got those from the many people asking for it on epic forums. Now i think Epic is too busy with fortnite, and maybe even Gears 4 to deal with more Gears 3 DLC. Which is a shame cos i would really like some new gears 1-2 maps.

i saw this video yesterday, i found it funny, and a little odd because ive never heard this while playing. But i never use marcus. But you would think with all the marcus' running around from joining in the middle of a match, i would have heard it somewhere. Guess not many people use meatshields.

Yeah I guess they are being recycled from the beginning. Only 35 Event ribbons to be had and no way of finding out which ones you need.

I'm pretty sure I've never played one shot one kill I only have 7 total and haven't gotten a ribbon in the past three events or maybe I have dunno

What people figured out is that there are 35 unique ribbon names, which are now being reused and won't necessarily correspond to the actual event taking place.

Oh I see. So I may not have played one shot one kill but I may have played a variation of it. RGR

It's like, those cutesy names that the ribbons had, like "Bang Bang My Baby Shot Me Down" or "The Grayson Hunt Award" or whatever, that no one paid much attention to because we assumed the events themselves were what mattered... It turns out the ribbon names were what mattered. So if you've already collected "The Grayson Hunt Award," you can't collect it again, no matter what kinds of events it has been attached to in the past or might be attached to in the future as it cycles through.

Well I only have 7 so if they're recycling I should be able to get some new ones eventually.

There are actually quite a few funny quotes in the game, BUT, one of 2 things happened in the video.

1. This is a private match
2. They fixed the battlechatter issue, and now all the quotes are used in public games.

As it was, they said there was "Not enough memory" (Oh god, classic line for anything broken in your game) to have all the quotes used in public MP matches.

The result is a lot of repetitive quotes. Sam runs around yelling "ACE" and "I love it when they do that."

Just another thing they did better in Gow2, unless it's option 2 and they fixed the problem.

Anyone know if the Launch Collection still contains Infected Omen?
