anyone trade ssx or scv today? My local gamestops wont tell me tivs over the phone. Dont want to waste a trip if tivs nuked.

had my first good experience at a new gamestop in fairfax va. The manager offered a $0.49 ps2 game for purchase during trade in to help get the 30% to a friend that didnt know it was running. Not quite the 3/5/7 deal, but better than nothing, and at least they offered. I also grabbed a copy of pokemon conquest.

Anyone else told the tier 3 is still going on? Hmm... I will check when I got there. I thought that was done, but a GS woman said(over the phone) I can get $10 extra for trading in 3.

Do they usually hit you with a refrub fee for the disc condition or for not having a case? The disc was in pristine condition so I'm assuming they hit me because I didn't have a case which I thought wasn't required anymore.

Is there a trade-in value for Kinect at Gamestop? If so, does anyone mind telling me?

It depends on the store. Mine tried to hit me with a $2 refurb fee for missing the cover art.

And at those stores I would demand a discount equal to that of a refurb fee on any game I bought without art, seeing as the refurb fee that the person who traded it most likely got charged didn't go towards refurbing shit.
