Howard in NJ isn't going to happen. We aren't dealing him for those guys. In free agency, they can't take him due to cap. Poor Dwight

The lakers better have retooled by 2015. Pau, Bynum, and Kobe will all be UFAs by that point. Nash will be beyond washed up in 3 years.

2015 could potentially be a lottery pick for the suns

I'm a bit surprised it happened but looking at the perspective, it makes sense. Nash is on the decline and it's clear at this point the Suns are in rebuilding mode so might as well sign and trade rather than get nothing. Lakers will be a team to watch in the next 5 years, both for this and the beginning of their own rebuilding phase.

Lakers get completely scorched by more athletic teams. Let's see, how do we fix that? Oh yeah! Let's get a 50 year-old pg with back issues!

Definitely didn't see that coming, but I don't think any other team would have given us as much back, they will be late picks but it's more than I thought we could get for Nash.

If Lakers get Dwight Howard, shit is going to be unreal. It's not like the Suns are going to win anything, anytime soon, it's going to be a few years as we rebuild.

Suns are on the right path.

23-year-old Beasley already on his third team. He still has plenty of time to grow.

Skip Bayless ‏@RealSkipBayliss
The real reason the Lakers got Steve Nash was so he could teach Kobe the meaning of the word "pass."

Yeah...so how does that work with Nash? Since Kobe has and always will be a ball hog and Nash needs the ball 90% of the time to actually make passes.

I dont see Nash just standing around at the 3 point line watching Kobe for 15 seconds of the shot clock.

Anyway, BOOOO I have always liked Steve Nash and he could have gone to any team in the world expect the Lakers and I would have cheered him on.

Amazing, just amazing.

Steve Nash has always been my favorite non-Laker player for years. He is simply a Maestro on the court, and to now have him on our team?

Mitch, you are a GOD!!

We still need tweaks to our bench. Too bad Ramon Sessions opted out because he would of been ideal as a back up PG.

What we lack was a facilitator, our offense goes stagnant way to often. We tried to get a quick penetrating PG last year (anything was better than Fisher, sadly) and it actually worked at times - but he disappeared in the playoffs. Count that on youth, non-experience, the fact that he was traded to L.A in March.

Nash has an incredible B-Ball IQ, knows exactly how to run an offense and now has the most firepower he has ever had around him on this Laker squad. We dont need him to score (even do hes FG %was 52 last season), but definitely cannot leave him wide open.

Suns get Dragic back. He was amazing the last couple months of last year after Lowry got hurt and he finally got starter minutes.

That's a poison pill I don't see the Knicks swallowing, either...

Looks like J. Kidd is going to the NY Knicks. Well that sucks as a Mavs fan. Here's hoping for the 2013 free agents, or trade Dirt and start over (dont think it will ever happen).

Love having Dragon back, I didn't like it when they traded him to begin with as he was starting to shine and he lost time to be instructed by Nash. Although, $34m seems like quite a bit for him.

Geez, I guess the Knick experiment with two ancient point guards last year wasn't enough...
