We want to keep Invent4 Entertainment and Strategy First in business. Otherwise, we may not get the anticipated sequel - "Bat Rats 2: More Cats 4 the Rats 2 Kill."

So I tried some Bad Rats.

I need to go take a cold shower or something to wash away the pain that brought me . Dear lord that game is horrible, and not to mention games like The Incredible Machine is way better and came out in the early 90's.

Updated OP to reflect daily deal and midweek madness. Dungeon Defenders looks good...but a certain sale is quickly approaching...decisions decisions.

I really like Dungeon Defenders, but I don't see a good reason to buy right now. It goes on sale every month and has been cheaper (75% off). I can't imagine it won't be this price or lower during the summer sale.

Already had Dungeon Defenders, but decided to take the plunge & get all of the DLC at the reduce price. Definitely worth it IMO. I think it was $12.01 for all DLC currently on sale (not including Lost Eternia Shards, which isn't on sale).

Ditto. I had actually not been paying attention to the DLC (since there was so much of it), but a few new classes to try out sounds like it might be fun.

Dungeon Defenders was like $3.50 at one point. So I would wait till the Summer Sale.

Great game though.

The Eternia Shards DLC was pretty much the only one I wanted :( Hope it goes on sale soon.

Dungeon Defenders was also free for IGN Prime users last year, and it was in the Indie Royale May Hurray bundle for a minimum of $4 along with other games. It goes on sale a lot, and I wouldn't be surprised if it hits 75% off in two days.

Because Amazon has been so good to me I would like to give back to CAG. I purchased the Square pack and got a second copy of Just Cause 2. I already own it on Steam (thanks Amazon, got it for 2.50!) Please only redeem the key on Steam if you plan on playing the game....

Is any of the DLC good for Dungeon Defenders?
Old 07-10-2012, 03:13 PM   #7358
Is it sad that I really only want Steam keys for the summer and winter sale achievements? No other site does this and it is pretty cool. Also auto-patching feature is nice except for Dungeon Defenders which patches every 36 minutes. I don't really care about staying with one DD site for organization purposes. I will buy from whomever is the cheapest instead.

Not sure if it is just me but I have noticed Steam sales since last winter are generally not as good as other sites for recently released games yet the game will activate on Steam. Hopefully Gamersgate will compete as well with buy 4 games for the price of 3 deals AND the 15% discount plus activating on Steam. That will be a good day!

Download RightMark CPU Clock Utility. It allows you to set the processor states allowed (basically letting you throttle your CPU), which can be very helpful if you don't want to overheat your processor on such type of tasks (specially if you're leaving it overnight to do its thing)

Eh, not really. Granted I haven't played the game itself since a couple of months after launch but the only substantive DLC is the Eternia Shards one. The rest just add skins, new classes, sometimes a couple of maps. All of that said I think the developers ruined the game when the turned it into an endless grind fest.

I would say, get the base game (but wait until it's cheaper) and if you've exhausted yourself on the content there and still want more then go ahead and look into the DLC.
