Because overall, LucasArts does a poor job of making their old games available for sale. You can't buy them anywhere.

Tales isn't as good as the originals, but I thought it was pretty okay. I liked it better than Escape, which I could never bring myself to finish.

If you right click on the game in your library, you can click Show Downloadable Content. It should list the expansion in that list.

Not buying any, which one to vote for? Just Cause 2, Dead Space 2 or Grand Theft Auto IV?

This might sound ultra cheap but if you add Tropico 4 and then all the dlc, you save 2 cents over selecting the Tropico 4 bundle.

Tales of Monkey Island was made by Telltale (The Walking Dead, Jurassic Park, Sam & Max Season 1-3, etc) a few years ago. It's a sequel to those earlier games.
Oh OK. Thanks for the replies.

I'm completely new to the Monkey Island series. Would you say that it would be a good idea to buy both?

GTA4 so the GTA Complete Pack will be discounted. Best deal, and not as common as the other deals.

Is monkey Island a platformer? Never even heard of the game.

I don't know about Tales of Monkey Island, but for the price, the Secret of Monkey Island bundle is definitely worth it.

Absolutely. But honestly, I've played both games more than a dozen times. The Secret of Monkey Island wasn't my first game by a long shot, but it's the one that really opened my eyes to gaming and gave me a new appreciation for them. I probably see them through a different set of eyes than most people, even if they are very well regarded.

If it's DLC right-click on the game in your steam library and you can view purchased content.

It's a point and click adventure game by Tim Schafer (Psychonauts, Brutal Legend, etc.) and Ron Gilbert (Maniac Mansion, Deathspank). It's widely considered to be a classic in the genre.

I bought Tropico 4 + modern times, first thing I bought so far

Alright, thanks again guys. And thanks to Woodlands who gave his input on the previous page. I didn't quote him because he posted while I was typing my last post.

I think those will pretty much do it. Keep in mind that a few of those are available in a bundle which will save you a few cents. http://store.steampowered.com/sub/14757/

I really enjoyed Tales of Monkey island (As much or maybe a bit more than Sam and Max telltale adventures even). And if you never played the original Monkey Island games, I would get those as well.

I remember playing curse of monkey island, they dont have that one

Ok.. I just noticed Vessel uses the Humble Bundle Store services.. so maybe it does have a high chance of being in a future humble bundle.
