What are you guys talking about. For the buy two deal, two Madagascars would total out to 59.98 plus tax. Since you're getting 30 dollars off, your total would end up in the $30+ area. Unless you're talking about getting another game and basically getting Madagascar for free, then I see.

Only the version of Madagascar 3 is $29.99, at least on toysrus.com. The other console versions are $39.99. The ad showed the version.

Let me update the OP with prices for all versions.

If Madagascar 3 was $30 on 360 I would have put some serious thought into getting that and Lego Batman. Not now though sorry TRU!

At this point BF is going to be blah somewhat. All of the DOTD & coupons have already made games reach $5 - $20 so seeing a $20-$25 price tag @ BF no longer excites me. I'll be more into the console deals & giftcard offers this year.

No I think there's some major releases coming in the months before black Friday that it should be great for those, but yeah not so much for games available now.

TRU used to have more consistent deals on a CAG level but it seems to me they've tapered down on that. My guess is that they've looked at the results of the promos vs. the ones without and determined they're good enough without having to do so as much. They should pick up in a couple of months right before the holiday season. They've had some pretty competitive deals during then.

You'll be singing another tune for games released from September-November. Since BF is right around the corner, there usually aren't any good deals around those months. I remember getting Forza 4 for 27 dollars at Target, which was awesome since there weren't any deals at launch.

True, but nothing beat those $15 GH6 guitar bundles they had last summer. TRU deals are rare, but they can be seriously killer.
