Price confirmed in Illinois. I took my old 20GB 360 system in during lunch, and got $50 base, $50 bonus, and for the 20GB HDD $3.00 base, $.30 bonus. I traded it in with the power brick, wireless controller, and a composite video cable.

My guess is your GS didn't have the updated promo, as the promo for the last few days has been a $25 promo.

I even checked BBY's trade in site and the Vita 3G is only getting $100..ugh..
Thing is, there I could flip credit to a Visa prepaid...but I'm still losing out. I don't want to let all my stuff go for less than what I initially paid.

Well none of us want to let things go for less than we paid jcp, but that's not really always a realistic perspective. What type of Criagslist cash offers have you been fielding? I'd say based on those you can evaluate what your best option is.

Except i pride myself on my ability and knack for buying things and 90% of the time reselling to make a profit. It's a side hobby of mine, and it usually pays off quite well for extra spending money.

I mean, the offer seemed too good to pass up... 3G system with everything included, x2 8gb cards, AND MGS?! retail that...it's what, roughly $400 worth?

I paid $170. Just sold my 8gb card for $20, so basically, i spent $150 now.

but from what im seeing, i cant even get in THAT back in cash for whats left which is STILL roughly worth $330-350 if you were to just walk into Best Buy right now. Even at GS's refurb prices....a buyer of mine is still lucking out. They're selling refurbed 3Gs for $230...im sure that doesnt include a memory card, so theres $30 for my 8gb, and eh, $30 for my used MGS...STILL...close to $290 worth of hardware...and i cant even get my $170 back.

IDK, maybe im just impatient...but i dont want to be stuck with it forever (even though it is a pretty cool system). average CL rates are going between $170-230 btw for just the SYSTEM most of the time

I will say that the sales associate I talked to this morning was also unaware of the promo, he just said to bring in a printout of the PDF when I go over after work.
