So it's been confirmed that we're gonna only have Pvp arena right? I already lost so much interest in this game already ;o Are they ever gonna have a larger pvp room instead of just 4 people?

Arena only but it won't matter since everyone will have quit by then. I hate scripted PvP so I sure as hell won't bother.

you figure if you had even 3v3, they'd all focus one down from the start and it would end very quickly. i'm going to guess they will tone down the damage in pvp so ppl don't get 1 shot out of the gate. no one has elite pack hps, and ppl critting for 200k+ would just be 2 DH's w/SS on every match.

also, any PC insight on the bow i posted? thanks.

i'm likely going to pool all my gear and invest in my WD again and hope I can make 1 strong character vs. 5 mediocre ones that can only farm act 1 and parts of act 2. (because im getting tired of kiting)

Uhhh...has this guy actually played the game? In order to be played over and over, there has to be a reason to do so. Right now there is zero reason. Ugh.

Anyways, made my final cash out yesterday and uninstalled the game. Done with Diablo for good (doubt I'll bother with PVP as they still don't have a timetable and there will probably be plenty of other better games to play by the time they get their shit together and release it).

If Blizzard cares about the game in the long run they will either rush out to get another expansion out ASAP or give incentives to keep playing. After all, Blizzard makes money from RMAH so having less people buying and selling through RMAH is bad for them.

I just wish I cashed out earlier, nothing seems to sell on RMAH (even items a paid several million for in gold.).

I'm interested in the buffs for skills/spells that hardly used. I'm hoping they buff Witch Doctor pets and other skills but I'm not holding my breath.

If they buff uniques/legendaries it won't matter to me because I hardly find any high level legendaries as it is.

Either way most Blizzard games from my bad memory were a mess to start. I had a lot of fun with Diablo 2 but it was a good while before things got put in good order. I still think Diablo 1 is my favorite outside of the fact that you can't run (making the Mage my favorite class in the long run since he could teleport with ease) and it was hacked on day one (item info stored on your computer, so change the file and voila if memory serves me right).

I'm hoping the buffs are pretty significant, right now there are only a few good wizard builds. Some of them require some gg gear to be viable, which is disappointing.

Currently running with a full arcane setup: Magic Missile, Arcane Orb, Arcane Hydra, + Temporal Flux. Seems to work well, with my crit chance/dmg my orbs crit for 110 k - 130 k.

I've been posting some of my crappier rares on the RMAH for $3. Sold a couple of them.

pooled all my gear and somehow came up w/a monk tank. she can farm act 2 w/no problems solo and even in 4 player coop w/decently geared players and progressing through act 3. only packs giving me problems are ones that have fallen prophets shooting fireballs at me out of reach. i.e. my resistances need major work.

50k hps, 350 AR (avg), 18k dps, 910 loh, and 35% block.

we'll see if anything drops tonight.

The only thing dropping now is playerbase. HIYO!

we found a 900+ dps mace w/a lot of dex, cd, and 300+ vit. 10k hps for the monk just holding that wpn...if the 10k hps can outshine the shield i'll use it.

as for the playerbase drop, i think the game will only improve w/time as blizz gets their act together and patch enough to make the game more fun through build diversity.

Considering how screwed up everything is, if my Wizard was a high enough level I'd give it a try. If just to get the character further in level.

i no longer have the same farming stamina or motivation to use this for more than just to get past ghom. we'll see if it's hotfixed before that happens. i've been having some better luck w/drops lately despite a rather dry week of farming act 2. my guess it will be patched during tomorrow's scheduled maint.

wow! that is some exploit! wonder how long its been hiding? probably since day 1! tsk! wonder how Blizzard will handle this! considering forum discussions about it are still active and most gaming sites are posting about it already... you would think an emergency maintenance should have taken effect immediately.

Also if blizzard will start banning everyone who ever tried the exploit.... they will definitely lose a chuck of their remaining playerbase after today.

you know the funny thing about ppl who get banned from exploiting a game, they usually find a way to play the same game again because they can't help it.

though it makes little sense to be angry for being banned when you knowlingly did something to exploit a system. hopefully it'll get fixed by tomorrow's patch.
