HAA HAA! Now THAT is hilarious!

Liked the RTS parts, reminded me of an old gem, Sacrifice. Without this, it'd been another asinine hack and slash.

Wow, surprised by all the hate.

Can't say I was an rts fan prior to BL. Not even sure if I had played an rts prior to it. But I had fun with it. Even dug it enough to go for all the 'cheevos

But I will say that I had trouble with the rts stuff early on; that first battle in the palace. Failed it a couple of times. But learned to use the guiding light/beacon and it suddenly became easy. Just send off your troops and then fly in with your character and lay waste

All I can say is play it on easy, cuz you're missing out on a great overall experience

i beat it on brutal, rts wasn't really that stupid, but the demo.
what a sham that demo was. it made it seem like a rock n roll god of war pure action. the demo and the actual game were so very very different. just very misleading.
n yeah i got this with infamous and prototype b2g1 on release. fail

I think I was more disappointed by the fact the story builds up nicely and then, when you expect a third part to the story arc, the game suddenly ends. It was a rich, open world but felt empty and the story just implodes near the end. You expect a full-on third campaign with the dark faction (don't remember the name) and suddenly you're fighting the final boss with absolutely no build up. Wish this game had been fully finished, because parts of it are amazing.

Yep. This is why I got sick of the game and sold it.

Sacrifice!! I really liked that game! That's really awesome you mentioned it.

I have this game in my backlog. I forgot when I bought it, but it was really cheap.. Damn, all these negative comments are making me wonder if I should even bother lol

I agree with this. I would have enjoyed the game without the RTS aspect, but I feel that keeping it in made it a different and actually a better game. One of the last RTS sections is extremely challenging and it was very rewarding when I finally conquered it on my 7th or 8th try. Very awesome game all around IMO.
