Same here... I found the series pretty boring and the puzzles get annoying very quickly.

I haven't seen this posted yet, so I'll point out that the great game, Super Stickman Golf has dropped to free, again. I HIGHLY recommend you check this game out if you don't own it already. Plus, it's universal which is always a plus!

I have it and I am not really a fan. The controls turned me off pretty quickly. Feels like they took the PC game and didn't think about decent controls for the iPad. Granted I only gave it 15 min of my time, but it'll be a while before I try it again. I liked the simpler scheme of Crimson: Steam Pirates, but that's more of a tactical game than SM Pirates.

Flick Kick Football is free now. Has some fun game modes, really good for the iPad.

In for Lost Winds 2, even though I've only barely touched the original. Need to get on that. Also, Super Stickman Golf is awesome and it has great local (and online) multiplayer that is a race to finish the hole. A lot of fun played locally via bluetooth (and it works across iPhone, iPad and iPod touch). The single player is awesome too. Best golf game ever.

Flick Kick Football is pretty fun. Has online too.

I picked up the new puzzler "10000000" last night based on the glowing 5 star review of it on toucharcade and damn is it good. Its puzzle mechanic is similar to chuzzle and it mixes in RPG/ endless runner mechanics. As the review talks about, anyone who liked dungeon raid should love this game. This game represents everything that is good about the app store and I cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone with even a passing interest in match 3s.

I just bought that today too and played a few rounds. It is fun. I think I'll burn out on it before most people (as I did with Dungeon Raid), but I'll get $2 worth out of it. Fun game.

i love me the demo of Dungeon Raid, but i'm waiting for a sale. I don't get bored of it. War Games was alright, but it suffered from not being endless. I'm psyched to try 10000000 but... broke from the steam sale. Very broke. Sounds like an incredible game though.

There are no ads in the civ rev for iPad that I bought a few months ago for 0.99, so no, there shouldn't be.

It didn't have ads when I played the game on iPod touch a while ago. It was actually my second app I purchased before owning any iOS device. There wasn't any ads when I tried the HD version on iPad either. Was there a new update for ads?

There is a small scrolling banner at the very top when you start the app until you get to the actual start of your game. Yea, it's annoying, but it's gone fast.

Okay I was concerned about that, there are alot of reviewers complaining about the ads after the latest update to the app.
