How are people flipping these as I just came back from Best Buy and the combo pack comes in one case making it impossible to sell separately?

You can trade in the discs separately to Gamestop and they'll be processed as individual games.

I don't think I will ever understand why people buy a game, and then sell it for literally about 3$ more..I understand trying to make a profit, but when it's that little of a amount, it's not even worth it.

Wayyyyyy too many games from the OP have dropped then dropped, again. Whether from a DOTD or the Summer Blowout. This game pack may come back for under $20.

I think I'll wait to buy a Silent Hill game. Don't think I'd be shocked if Downpour came back at $10-$15 from a sale or coupon deal.

Assuming you're talking about how you can trade the two discs for $34 total to Gamestop, the profit becomes more desirable when you factor in the 30% extra credit you can get (50% extra in a couple of weeks) when buying a used game (one priced $0.99 or lower will work). There's also the 10% extra with PUR membership to consider, so you're looking at $44.20/$47.60 w/ PUR ($51/$54.40 for the 50% extra), a ~$14-$20 profit.

Assuming the TIV does not drop within 2 weeks, which most of us know it will.

If their TIVs end up like the TIVs for both versions of Arkham City from back when you could get copies for $10 each at Best Buy, it might not. Heck, they might even go up!

Seriously, though, as I said when I posted the 50% extra upcoming promo, there's obviously risk involved in waiting.

Also at least one achievement is no longer available in nba 2k12. Forget the name but it is the one that ties in with the actual games being played during the nba season

I tend to agree with this. In my case though, my NBA 2k disc was probably in the roughest shape of any of my games because I've used it an insane amount of times, taken it to friends houses, ect.

Plus I bought a copy of the Sims to take to GS with me. My $32 plus tax of BB credit got converted to $57.40 of GS credit. Plus the reason I did it...I got a fresh new copy of the best sports game ever, NBA 2k12.

Maybe they're just trying to transfer credit with minimal work . Obviously there are way better ways to transfer it but what can you do.

I've come to realize that $3 is a lot of money for some people on this forum. I'm not saying that that's good, and I'm not saying that that's bad; I'm just saying. So to each his/her own.

I gladly picked up my copy since if I don't like MLB it's going straight to GS
I feel like that's a lot of money for those games. Kinda doubt it.

Amen and true... probably have hundreds of hours invested into it, and probably won't put it down until 2K13

I'm of the philosophy that you do whatever you can to get by. To each his own is right. That being said, if 3$ is a lot to you, its probably wise to keep your mouth shut.

Some people on cag have no shame.

I didn't really have any interest in MLB ( I couldn't really enjoy The Show so figured this would be the same) but I really wanted NBA 2k12 and needed to grab my niece a $25 Itunes card. Used the MLB game to trade towards the Itunes card so now I can enjoy NBA 2k12 and my niece can buy lots of crappy music, win for all.

While I was at BB I also used the GCU promo to grab MW3 for PS3. This is the 3rs time I've had it and I might actually spend some real time with it, but without the actual coupon it didn't ring up right at first so might want to print it.

Are the combo packs any different from the individual games sold separately? I would buy this to sell one of the games to Amazon if they would accept?
